This location is horrible! We went to the drive through and they told us to wait, waited 10 minutes then said “hello” to remind them we were still there and the lady said “I told you to hold on, but go ahead” we were handed our drinks and told to pull up. The drinks were all diet cokes, not what we order! It was pouring rain and I had to bring the drinks in myself because another 10 minutes went by and no one came with the food. When I went in the lady said “what’s the problem” as she glared at the drink tray in my hand. She then proceeded slowly to get the correct drinks(all cokes) I said one was light ice, which one is that she gave a giggle waved her hand over the drink tray and said I don’t know but it’s one of them. I said but you just filled them you don’t remember? She said “nope, do you want me to dump one out and do it again? I declined because by then I just wanted my order. I said no thanks but is my order ready? She asked one of the guys if it was ready and he proceeded to whisper in her ear they joked around for a bit while he casually filled an order which happen to be mine. I check the order and left. Everyone in this store was commingling like they were just there to hangout and chat, only 2 people working and they weren’t moving fast at all let alone at a normal speed. Absolutely Horrible service. Not to mention 2 of the sandwich were wrong! I didn’t realize I needed to open each box and check them. I Shouldn’t have to do that! The cokes had a chemical taste, the onion rings tasted like they were cooked in rancid grease, and the fries were cold. We were traveling through and assume this Culver’s would be as good as the other Culver’s we have visited. It’s a shame that it’s run so sloppily. And they don’t have a clue about...
Read moreNight shift: I just drove 30 miles to have culver's on Dirksen Parkway in Springfield Illinois after church. When we went in at approximately 9pm they rolled their eyes at us. We called before we left Taylorville and was told that the dinning room was open until 10pm, which it was. We ordered our food and they messed it up. The man that took the order had it right on the receipt. The kitchen put onions and tomatoes on the burgers. When we told the waitress she said " Can't you just pick it off" We told her that it would taste like onion and that I don't like onion" We were nice, calm and polite the whole time while the staff smerked and talked about us. After about five minutes of the AC blowing on our fries and cheese curds, we then said the fries and cheese curds were getting cold and my wife politely asked if they could possibly just give us fresh ones so they will be hot and the manager shouted out "I'm not making those again", as she jerked them off of the tray and cheese curds went everywhere. Not that it matters but they didn't even give us the extra pickles that we asked for either.
I think the most insulting was the staff and manager talking trash about us, at that point we just asked for a refund and drove to the Culvers across town! God helped us to keep our calm and be polite in the face of such rude service. Customer service is lost there.
Lashonda was the manager and she is the one who could have put a stop to the talking about us. I feel as if it was a race issue with us being white. I don't understand what is going on in our country!! The buck stops at the manager and she needs to be trained in...
Read moreI had never had a Culver's burger before. I ordered a cheese double deluxe without the tomato and no butter and untoasted bun. Having read several times that Culver's has the best fast food burger, I have to say I was very disappointed, especially given how much I was looking forward to trying one. The meat itself was excellent but the only thing on the burger aside from the cheese was a small amount of onion, a tiny bit of lettuce, and some mayonnaise. It was very bland- no special sauce like McDonald's or In 'N Out. No pickles. Not even ketchup! Just bland mayonnaise. Also, the bun was not very fresh- perhaps that is why the default is a toasted bun but I prefer a fresh, untoasted bun. It is a shame that with such good quality meat, Culver's serves such a bland burger. I don't know if there are ways to order that would have made it better but I told the cashier I had never eaten at a Culver's before. I wish he would have told me the only condiment on the burger was mayonnaise. Unfortunately I had ordered take-out so there...
