Starbucks — Restaurant in Springfield

I don’t go to Starbucks but my granddaughter loves it. Took her there Saturday morning so she could start with food in her belly since she didn’t eat before I picked her up. The drink order was incorrect so they said they couldn’t take it back but made the correct one. This morning I was checking my bank account when I noticed they charged me but then the money was put back in my account. I called my bank first to make sure I was looking at it right and I was so I called them so I could pay for it and they refused to let me pay. They let me keep the drink but I felt I should have paid for what we received. It took less than 5 minutes from order to getting the correct drink so it wasn’t a long wait time. I just feel like I should pay for what we received. I spoke to the manager and she said to pay it forward which I have no problem doing so. Really nice people working there, I wouldn’t have expected my money return though. It’s a great place and will go there again but, if my drink is ever wrong again, I will make...

It has been a couple of years since I set foot in a Starbucks and some things are different. Now I need to watch my blood sugar. My "skinny" drink was horrible...I had to add sweetener and creamer when I got home. My son wanted a vanilla cappuccino and they added hazelnut. I noticed this on the label. He has a nut allergy so I complained and was told, " that is how we make it". It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out to NOT add the hazelnut after I tell them about the nut allergy. I was treated poorly to the point that I purposely apologized for seemingly making everyone mad. I received no substantive response. If the place was busy I would understand....they were not busy....

Most of the baristas at this location are perfect, friendly, and my drink is the same every time. I’ve noticed one person that makes my drink does everything different, she slathers it in caramel drizzle even after I asked for light caramel (all inside the cup), way too light of ice when I didn’t ask for light ice, just making things her own way. When I bring it up she says it’s “better that way”. I have to closely monitor my sugar intake and I know it’s not accurate when my drink is made this way. Even after other baristas correct her she still gives me my drink the way she thinks it should be made. I won’t be ordering when she is working! Too...
