We were so happy to have an IHOP in town but this place is disappointment after disappointment. Never properly staffed and the staff who are working are the most impersonal, unfriendly people they could possibly employ. I've never seen a manager here. They do not pre-bus your table and rarely even come back to check on you. Drinks are always empty and they show up at the end to give you your check. Tonight, we walked in to a mostly empty restaurant, maybe 2 tables sitting down (7pm on a Saturday night) with 2 servers working. A server came up to seat us and took us (party of 6) to a table around the corner from the host stand awkwardly between 2 other tables. We decided among ourselves to turn 2 tables together so it didn't feel like we were sitting at another table with those people. While we were maneuvering our own seats, the server was asking us for our drink order... instead of helping move the table or chairs. She waited impatiently for our drink order and disappeared. When she came back with our drinks, she informed us that she would be back once she seated the people waiting at the door. Not only did she seat them, she got their drink orders and came back to take their food order and disappeared again for maybe 15 minutes. Then she came back to our table and said "are you ready to order?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! YES! 15 MINUTES AGO! ... 30 minutes after we ordered and still hadn't gotten our food, we were getting up to leave when our food arrived. If we hadn't been so hungry, we would have walked out the door because so much of our order was incorrect or missing. I've been sitting here waiting for my check the entire time I've been writing this review on my cell phone... haven't seen a server in probably 10-15 minutes. People have come into the restaurant and walked back out because they were tired of waiting. My question is... who is running this place? Because they need fired ands replaced with someone that has their head on the OUTSIDE of their a** I only gave a 1 star review because -9 stars was not an option. This place...
Read moreI came up to have breakfast with my sister and brother in law. The first thing I noticed was the older lady being hostess who was also the only busser they had. We were finally seated and not long after that our waitress came to get our order. We finally got our drinks a few minutes later and thats when the problems started. It took over 45 mins for us to get our food... Yes they were busy but most of the tables around us were left completely unbused so there really wasnt a place to have new groups sit, causing a huge line to form out the building. Some tables were seated after us and still were able to get their meal and leave. Our waitress asked if we wanted refills on our water... It took 10 mins to get our new drinks. Once we were almost done eating my brother in law asked for a refill.... He never got one. Ahe came to us with our bill and then realized it was suppose to be seperate checks. After another 20 mimutes of waiting for our checks my sister asked a male server to let our waitress know we were ready to pay and leave. The male server came back with one check then had us tell him which check had what on it... Then 10 mins late our waitress came back in tears with 3 checks and all confused. The male server had yelled at our waitress who was already stressing out...causing us to feel horrible. Another 10 minutes go by and we are finally able to pay and leave meanwhile the line was stretched into the parking lot. With at least 7 unbused tables that had been empty since we showed up. As a former waitress i know it can get stressful but this was the worst sercice...
Read moreMy fiancée and I went out for Sunday breakfast and decided on IHOP. Church begins at 11, and we arrived at 9:45. We assumed this was plenty of time since the church is nearby. I have had good experiences at other locations and enjoy the food, but this location was having a rough morning. We were seated quickly and placed our orders within five minutes of arrival. Then we waited. And waited. After twenty five minutes, the waitress alerted the table next to us of issues. Their food was coming. Fifteen minutes later, they received their food. The waitress said ours would be out next. We were running out of time, and even joked that we might miss church. The table that just received their food complained that it was cold and sent it back to the kitchen to be reheated. Then our food finally came around 10:40. Our food, my pancakes and her omelette, was delivered to the table cold. We were in a hurry, so we did not send it back or bother our waitress who already appeared overwhelmed. All of the waitresses and the hostess seemed fried. Two of them even got into an awkward heated discussion that could be overheard by several tables. The restaurant was full but did not seem too hectic. There appeared to be plenty of staffing. The majority had been served before we were seated. We were never given an explanation for the delay nor were we offered any apology for the long wait. The food was pretty good and might have been delicious if served warm.
We won’t return and risk discovering if this was an isolated incident or a systemic issue. Hope your experience is...
