So... Last Tuesday November 8, 2022 I took my laptop in for a screen replacement. I was told 3-5 business days for the part and same day installation would take 45 minutes. Well the following Tuesday I called and was told the part arrived and will be done by Wednesday the following day. Wednesday I had to call and was told 4:30 they would let me know if this was complete. No, it was not by 4:30PM and I was told they would call me back by 6:00pm. Then I was told the computer was put back together wrong so the next day would be the final day.
I call the next day and the manager tells me they just got the part in, um what? I decided to go to the store and figure this out. THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE TECH THERE AND THE GUY HAD NO CLUE HOW TO WORK ON STUFF. Sorry but as a manager you should at least know the basics. The corporate office sorta helpful, they offered me a screen protector for anything in my house but not the screen. So after I was told the district manager would be involved I waited until that SATURDAY (today) and finally got the call to come get it.
When I arrived they needed me to bring the charger so they could test it. Finally I get my laptop back and THEY PUT STICKERS ON MY COMPUTER. I give this place a 1/10 and the one is just for the fact there was a transaction. I was told a discount BUT upon receiving my computer that was never brought back up. This started Friday night. I was on the phone with AT&T resetting, taking the sim out, turning the phone off and on, and standing on my head. They finally suggested to get a new card.
Saturday- I drive to the AT&T store between my sons wrestling match for a new sim and it was still showing the circle of death.
Sunday- was on the phone with Samsung for roughly 3 1/2 hours trying to figure out why my Samsung Care Plus insurance we were paying monthly for wasnt registering. Turns out when we replaced his phone, (that we purchased through Samsung), with an AT&T purchase, the insurance didn't carry over. They sure seen that the "covered" phone wasn't the one showing and still charging us for almost 3 years.
Monday- I spoke to the CEO office of Asurion and she conference called Samsung and that led me here. I called uBreakiFix and after explaining just a little of my story he understood what the issue was. He checked to see if they had the part before I drove 40 minutes, and they had it fixed within an hour. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and they will save you from being passed around, playing repeat your story to people that have no clue what's going on.

I dropped my IPad off for a repair (the diagnosis was it needed a new charging port). I was told I would be called when it was ready…. 6 hours later and many unanswered phone calls, I stopped by only to wait another hour before it was fixed… one week later and my I pad is not charging… several more unanswered phone calls and I am sitting in front of the store at noon… it’s not open….the neighboring stores can only tell me they don’t keep regular hours at times…
If you are local (Springfield), waiting around and stopping by may not be an issue…. It is for me as I live 20 miles away….
One week later, I am sitting in front of the store again…it is a Saturday… there are two different store hours published… one says 10 am … another says 12 noon… it is quite obviously not…
My new charging port charges sporadically so I will need to bring it back AGAIN and while I am sure the service will be courteous, it will a several days of trying to catch the store open and hours of stopping by to see if the repair is finished… .
Courteous and knowledgeable staff once you find them open but be prepared to be in the dark on the store hours and any courtesy calls for when your repair...
