My review is based on my situation. Their sandwiches are good and I have no complaints there. My problem is when I placed an online order. It was changed to pick up because I live 1.9 miles away from that location. After waiting 45 minutes I decide to call and all I get is "Sorry but that was set for pick up because we don't deliver that far out. Sorry"
So where's the problem?
I didn't get a courtesy call to be told that. What's the purpose of the phone number for an order if the customer is not informed of changes?
I decide to pick up my order. This place is right behind little Caesar. The only reason I chose this place it's because they deliver and I didn't want to go to little Caesar. I'll remember next time to order from them instead of this place.
Besides that point, I picked up my order and they forget to let me know "the chips are not in the bag" and I come in and the lady was nice to say "pick any you want" but I wanted the lower fat chips. +1 point there for trying to bring me back on a bad mood I was.
Needless to say it may take a while before I decide to purchase from them again. Not saying I won't (because doing so really doesn't affect them) and they can care 2 cents for one less customer. But hopefully you all understand that if you live 1.9 miles away "you're too far for delivery"
Oh! And their site didn't had a number or a feedback location....
Read moreI generally have great service here and have been getting a sandwhich 2 or 3 times a week. I'm always greeted and always place my order in under a minute, not long after that I have my sandwhich and it's fantastic. It had been my go to for a quick lunch. I was super surprised today when I went in, no greeting and acted like I didn't even exist as I waited to place my order, zero acknowledgement that I was there, no we'll be right with you, no hello, no sorry we're super busy, but we can still help you, nothing. So after a bit I decided to leave. Again no good-bye haha. I hope this isn't the new normal. At some point I'll find out, but not for a while :). I realize they were swamped, but who doesn't have 5 seconds to say "hi? they do it every other day.
I should clarify that the not saying "hi" to me wasn't what bothered me, the only reason I mentioned it was that to me it showed how great their customer service generally is. I was bothered by the fact that I was waiting and waiting to give my order at the register for quite some time AND no one said a word, it was as if I didn't exist, I had no clue how soon they would get to me or if they would get to me at all, there were orders continually coming through as the receipts were printing, they would grab those and wouldn't even look in my direction, it was the complete opposite of...
Read moreI've been going to Jimmy John's for a good long while now, and I just wanted to say how kind your employees are. I was recently in your store during a very busy lunch time. A rowdy teenage boy bumped into while I was finding my table and my drink spilled all over me and on the floor. I was very sorry for the mess I'd made but your staff and manger didn't make me feel like I'd caused them a problem at all. Infact they rushed over to see if I was ok first, and then hurried and mopped up the mess I'd made, all the while reassuring me that "it's not a problem these things happen" they set me up with a new drink and I enjoyed my lunch. I was so impressed with how they handled everything while the store was so busy, and it didn't seem like it slowed down your freaky fast sandwiches at all. I love...
