The Moniker isnât just a bar â itâs a whole vibe. Chic, creative, and absolutely the kind of place that makes you wonder why you ever wasted calories anywhere else. đ
Food first: the hummus came out creamy and bright with pita, bread, and carrots â basically the gateway snack that kept us dipping for more. The shrimp and grits? Rich, velvety, and the kind of comfort food that whispers, âyes, you deserve this.â The black-eyed pea bruschetta shocked me by being one of the table favorites â smoky, tangy, piled high, and impossible to stop at one bite. And the Asian beef tartare with that golden yolk? Bold, beautiful, and an absolute show-off (in the best way).
Now the cocktails â and this is where The Moniker flexes. The Blue in the Face looked like modern art in a glass and tasted just as layered and fun. The Tiramisu Espresso Martini? Pure dessert goals â creamy, chocolatey, dusted with cocoa, and borderline dangerous because itâs too easy to drink. The Jalisco Manhattan gave a sexy tequila-forward twist to a classic. And the Kettle Corn Martini stole the spotlight â smoky butterscotch with an actual side of kettle corn. I mean⊠who does that? (Answer: The Moniker, and itâs genius.)
The vibe? Sleek design, great energy, and that perfect balance of upscale without being pretentious. Whether itâs date night, girlsâ night, or just treating yourself like the star you are, this place delivers.
If you want food thatâs way better than âbar foodâ and cocktails that make you feel cooler just holding them, The Moniker should be non-negotiable on your list.

Read moreThe vibe of this establishment feels like it was thrown together in a rush. There is an ION speaker that you would see next to a DJ, blasting music that does not align with the atmosphere. The waitress was incredibly dismissive and seemed bothered that she had to show up to work. There was only 1 bartender for the 25+ patrons, so it took 30 minutes to get drinks. The drinks were perhaps the worst âcraftâ cocktails Iâve ever endured. The espresso martini was made with tequila? The dirty martini did not contain a lick of olive brine. The margarita had a scant amount of tequila to the point that it tasted like simple syrup. The only redeeming quality about the experience was the hummus platter that was freshly made. The person who prepared it came out and delivered it to the table with much more personality and care than the waitress herself. Whoever is running this joint needs to hire more people and higher quality workers. Additionally, perhaps invest in overhead speakers that donât blast into the back of peopleâs ears, cheapening...
Read moreI am a review reader in general so it was imperative for me to leave a review. My friend and I decided to stop in on yesterday which was a Thursday evening. Moniker is literally everything! The level of service was one that was unforgettable, the energy from the staff was nothing less than pleasant, the aesthetics were everything as well. Honestly, you can order off the menu or let the bartender showcase his gift! Everything he provided was tasty, the details were beautiful and the experience in itself was all around pleasant. I love places that you can honestly go get small bites, nice cocktails and itâs not a club and moniker was perfect for that! We had great conversation with strangers, and we all left feeling as if weâve know each other just from sharing how amazing our experiences were ! Next, the chef!!!! The flavor in the food omg! The bites may be small, but the flavor speaks rather loudly ! Nonetheless! Please check them out. This place is truly a gem! Canât wait to be...
