18 Main — Restaurant in Stowe

Went to breakfast with my husband for Valentine’s Day and had a horrible experience from the food and treatment ! I ordered the avocado toast , had one bite and it was terrible. The toast was not even toasted but soggy bread with old avocado spread on it. Asked to order something else and got a horrible attitude from the waitress. She then brought us our check and never took off the avocado toast from our bill and expressed that I had to pay for it anyway and then continued to disrespect us by telling my husband “she’s sorry that he has to deal with me” ! I was totally appalled . No one should be treated that way ! We were disgusted ! Thank you to hotel management for understanding. I hope that waitress should be ashamed...

Although we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the 18 Main yesterday, we were most disappointed with the way we were teated when paying. The waitress was lovely until our young guest from England paid the bill and did not realize that the service charge was NOT included. Breakfast here is really good! We had the spinach eggs, the pancakes and the avocado toast and loved everything. The pancakes were supper fluffy and full do delicious blueberries - I definitely recommend them! All of our dishes were fairly priced, not too expensive and definitely worth the price!
