The location of this restaurant and its views are stunning, but the food and service left us wanting more. We started with the pretzel logs with cheese dip. The house-made cheese dip was amazing! However, three minutes after our appetizer came out, our food came out. The timing definitely could have been better, there. For dinner, I ordered grilled cheese and tomato soup, which I was really looking forward to on a cold and rainy day! However, when it came out there were MAYBE two slices of half-melted cheese on the sandwich. The soup tasted okay, but was really chunky (not with tomatoes). For a $14 grilled cheese and tomato soup, I was not impressed. I can make a cheesier grilled cheese and yummier tomato soup at home for half that price. Additionally, when my husband and I passed on ordering drinks, our server seemed confused by that and for the rest of the night he definitely focused on his tables that WERE ordering drinks. Overall, the views and atmosphere were nice, but the food and service were subpar. If it weren’t for the views and good cheese sauce, we would’ve given it one star.

Nice interior design we could see the fireplace from where we were sitting big windows, nice wood design relatively small menu, live music, waiter came fast and came by with water refills quickly appetizers came within 10 minutes, definitely on the expensive side, however the charcuterie board was pretty good, but not worth the price tag. as goes for the pork belly tacos however they were better than the charcuterie board, but still very expensive. The fried chicken sandwich was pretty good. It was crispy. There wasn’t a lot of chicken and the chicken was well flavored and you get a lot of fries for the three dollar side fries. The waiter was really nice and detective. The food overall was OK. I give it like a 6.5. overall, if you’re just looking for somewhere to eat, I wouldn’t really recommend this place cause it’s a bit icy and the food isn’t that good no but if you’re here just to grab a drink, then I would definitely recommend this place.

We weren't sure where to go for dinner and drove by the Inn where this restaurant is located. The dining room is really nice, but we sat out on the deck (also very nice!) where there were multiple people dining, live music (Not offensively loud and the artist was quite good) and a fire pit with people hanging out. It was a great atmosphere, very low key or "chill" as I would say. The food was excellent but we did not have menu items, we had the specials which were a braised short rib and a linguini with white wine clam sauce and pancetta. Both were delicious. I would highly recommend Grants based on atmosphere and the quality of our food even though we didn't have their regular menu items. There are a lot of good restaurants in Stowe, add this one to your list.

We had the pleasure of having our rehearsal dinner at Grant's recently, and I can't express enough how amazing the experience was. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that this was going to be a special evening, and it was all thanks to the exceptional staff at Grant's.

The staff at Grant's went above and beyond to make our rehearsal dinner an unforgettable occasion. They were attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire evening. It was clear that their goal was to ensure that every guest had a wonderful time, and they succeeded beyond our expectations.

What truly stood out was how they personalized the experience to make it special for us. From the beautifully decorated private dining area to the thoughtful details that matched the occasion, their attention to detail was remarkable. They took the time to understand our preferences and made sure everything was just right.

Now, let's talk about the food. The cuisine at Grant's is top-notch. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, and it left everyone at the table raving about the flavors. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, adding to the overall dining experience.

As the evening progressed, it was heartwarming to see everyone at our rehearsal dinner so happy and content. Grant's had set the stage for a fantastic start to our Wedding weekend celebration, and we couldn't have asked for a better beginning.

To the entire team at Grant's, we want to express our deepest gratitude for making our rehearsal dinner so incredibly special and memorable. Your dedication, professionalism, and outstanding service were second to none. Thank you for going the extra mile to ensure that we had a wonderful evening. We left Grant's with smiles on our faces and hearts full of gratitude, ready to celebrate the rest of the weekend in style. You truly made our experience unforgettable, and we can't...

My husband and I made reservations and we seated, by an older host who spoke not one word to us, at a table in the back (please note the restaurant was not busy at 630pm on a Saturday and had maybe 6 tables taken at the time). We then moved to the bar where we felt unwelcomed and decided to leave prior to ordering.

We didn't eat or drink anything, contrary to what the owner commented on my husband's review.

Given the menu online we expected this to be more upscale and it just wasn't what we were looking for.

Despite what the owner will inevitably comment on this post- it was a holiday weekend at peak foliage and was dead. That should have been an indication of what to expect when we sat down.

I wasn't going to leave a review but since the owner commented a plethora of made up information about our visit on my husband's review- here I am.

I wouldn't trust the reviews you read or the comments back. He commented a completely fabricated dining experience when we ordered literally not one thing- not even water.

This review was really just to say the 'vibes were off' but now it's to point out the...
