Corner 11 — Restaurant in Strongsville

Had tickets for an evening showing at cinemark southpark so we were looking for restaurant options in the nearby vicinity. Corner 11 popped up in our search as it is right across the street and had great reviews.

Having looked at the menu online ahead of time, we all had pretty good ideas of what we each wanted. When we arrived, we walked up to the counter to each place our orders. I would say the restaurant is in the fast casual category (the poke bowl option and setup reminded me of how chipotle or subway operates)

I ordered a large poke bowl and chose double chicken and beef as my protein options. Then picked from sushi rice as my base, then chose all my various veggies and additional items. Topped it all with a teriyaki sauce. I also ordered the custard steam bun and the egg custard over sticky rice for desert options.

Overall, our entire party was very happy with their food. My custom pole bowl was flavorful and the beef and chicken were great (to note, they did warm them in the microwave before adding to my bowl, which made sense given how the poke station is setup)

The custard buns were a hit with everyone. The egg custard over sticky rice was served hot and had a good flavor.

It is absolutely a restaurant I would return to. Especially since I would have variety in how I constructed my various combinations of ingredients based on what I was looking for...

I tried this for the first time tonight. I wasn't sure what to try as so many of the items sounded so good. I settled on a poke bowl. The girl at the front gave us a piece of paper with all the ingredients you can add, including the rice style, proteins, sauces, and add-ons. After picking a few items to add, I still wasn't sure what to put in my bowl. So I asked what else to add, and the girl was very nice and helped suggest different topping and it ended up delicious. All the food was extremely fresh and didn't seem to have been prepared hours beforehand. The beef was tender and the chicken was moist and not dried out in the least. Even had some raw tuna and it didn't have a fishy smell to it like some other places have. The avocado that I added wasn't brown from being left out and the portions of vegetables were a good amount but not over the top. The portions were all about the same amounts and nothing seemed to over power the other. This included the sauce as it was just the right amount. Enough to get a taste of it but not enough to be take away from the tatse of the ingredients. All together, it came out in a beautiful presentation. All in all I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely go back. The challenge will be remembering what I got. This maybe a good thing as I will get to try...

Corner 11 is consistently an excellent choice for takeout. We've ordered multiple times, and the quality has always impressed us. The poke bowl stands out for its freshness and high-quality ingredients, though it’s a bit on the pricier side. The ramen has a rich, flavorful taste, and the sticky mango rice is a definite must-try—absolutely delicious!

The staff is consistently friendly, which enhances the overall experience. However, there’s one odd aspect: even when paying online, customers are required to sign for their receipt upon pickup. It feels like this may be a subtle push toward tipping, which can be frustrating for pickup orders. Tipping shouldn't be expected in these situations.

Despite this small drawback, Corner 11 is a fantastic place, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking fresh, high-quality food options in...
