Came here with a friend. Asked for two Tom Collins. Were given the incorrect drinks it was clear the bartender had no idea what a Tom Collins was. So we returned them to the bar, and said we were leaving. They said that was ok. We felt bad to have not tipped the waitress so we sent in our friend to go back in and give her a tip for her time. The bartender gave our friend FALSE information that we walked out on a tab and had him pay it. This is incorrect we did not consume anything at this establishment we returned the drinks. All we wanted to do was tip the waitress, for that reason my friend returned. He called me confused. I went back in and told my friend not to sign the tab as we did not consume anything and that we just wanted to tip our waitress. I notified the bartender I'd be leaving a review as she did not waive the fee. It's very simple to void a check. That is outrageous.. Do not go here, BEWARE. I want to be clear that we brought our drinks to the bar and told the staff that we were leaving because they made us incorrect drinks. We did not consume anything and our friend was still charged $20 for drinks that we did not consume, Incorrect drinks were made, we left. The 'owner' has now removed a comment on this review where they had then threatened us to release a video of us walking on the tab which is incorrect. Drinks were left at the bar and not consumed. Extremely unprofessional. Other guests in our group have left separate reviews for their experience on the matter. We were all shaken by this weird experience. We called asking for a refund for the drinks we did not consume, instead of waiving the fee they responded to this review. So we will be disputing this transaction from the bank. Regardless if a drink was 20 or 5 dollars it's the principal. If something is not made correctly and returned, we do not have to pay. No foul play. Extremely unsettling...

My husband and I moved to the area a few years ago and have been trying to check out every restaurant downtown. Tonight, we decided to check out Finloa's and specifically chose it over the other Irsih Pub across the street because it looked nicer from the outside. Our waitress was fabulous! She promptly brought us some water and took extra time to answer questions about the menu. We ordered our regular drinks: one old-fashioned and one vodka martini with a twist of lemon...neither of these drinks is very complicated to make, so we were surprised when we took our first sip...both drinks were atrocious. They both tasted like they had been sitting alone for hours as the ice melted into the drink, leaving nothing but a watered-down version of what the drink once was. I am a former bartender, and the only thing I could come up with is that maybe the bartender didn't strain the drinks over fresh ice after shaking them...they may have just dumped the whole thing into the glass...bleh! This was the first time EVER that I decided to just leave a restaurant instead of returning the drinks because they were so bad; I had zero faith that the bartender could do anything better. We promptly paid our tab and left without having more than the first sip. Perhaps the bartender just needed some additional training...hopefully management does some QA every now and again. I can't speak for the food because we didn't stay long enough to eat.

Can’t really come in on the food because we ended up having a appetizers to go because they took over half an hour to come out and we needed to leave plus the other reason we needed to leave was because the atmosphere was noisy loud with children running around and adults standing Literally on top of us talking very loudly not at the booth still don’t understand why the owner would allow that to happen, but it was not a pleasant experience at all the pretzels pretzel bites with the cheese sauce. Absolutely gross the cheese sauce. The pretzel bites were good and I haven’t tried the Irish nachos yet although they look pretty Good so I gave the food averaged three but why would you allow small children to be running all over the place with basically no adult supervision, throwing ornaments around and kicking a ball and father was apologetic but still doesn’t solve the problem while you’re allowing your kids to run around. It shouldn’t be apologizing. You should be preventing. Will not go back there. Plenty of other restaurants similar in the area that...
