Baires Grill Argentine Steakhouse: A Disaster of Epic Proportions
If I could give Baires Grill Argentine Steakhouse zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, one of the most appalling dining experiences I have ever endured—one that not only ruined my meal but put my health at risk, thanks to the sheer incompetence and outright hostility of the staff, particularly the so-called “manager” on duty.
As someone with food allergies, I take extra precautions—I clearly outlined my dietary restrictions to the server before ordering, emphasizing what I absolutely could not eat. What happened next was beyond negligence—it was outright recklessness.
My dish arrived, and from the very first bite, I could tell something was wrong. My throat began to tingle—a clear sign that the very ingredient I had warned them about was present. I had asked for fish with nothing on it but olive oil and broccoli just sautéed with olive oil and nothing else on it. This isn’t what they brought me. A few minutes later, instead of an apology or any concern for my well-being, out stormed the so-called manager.
What followed was nothing short of outrageous. Rather than taking responsibility for their mistake, this individual yelled at me, dismissing my concerns as if I were making it up and saying I never said anything and I was being difficult. He obviously has no knowledge or concern for allergies. The sheer arrogance and disregard for basic customer service—let alone human decency—was astounding.
A restaurant that handles food allergies with such carelessness is not just bad—it is dangerous. And a manager who chooses to berate a guest rather than ensure their safety? That is simply inexcusable.
Save yourself the time, money, and potential health risk. Baires Grill is a disgrace, and I wouldn’t recommend it to my...
Read moreBaires Grill is an elegant and classy Argentinian restaurant in Sunny Isles at the RK Plaza. Dress code would be classy casual.
They have Happy Hour Mon-Fri 4:00pm -7:00 pm, which we went to last Thursday. The bar has only 6 seats and there were 6 of us. The 50% off discount is only applied to bar food and drinks and you have to eat and drink at the bar. I don't know how it is handled if other people want to enjoy the happy hour seating and eating rules. But it worked out good for us because we came early.
I'm only reviewing what my daughter and I ate and drank, not our friends' orders. Our bill has everyone's food and drinks on it but we split it up and we paid for our own. The restaurant adds the tip on the bill, even if you buy one drink, they add the tip.
We had the Beef Carpaccio, Provoleta (fried cheese), and fried Beef Empanadas. They were very good! My daughter had a custom white Sangria made for her and I stuck with water. Our server, trainee B, was friendly and attentive.
Parking was not an easy thing to accomplish. All spots are shared by all the businesses at the Plaza. So there are designated spots for deliveries in front of the businesses and the customer has to park wherever there is a spot and not necessarily close to the business you are going to! This was the only problem for us in coming to Baires. Otherwise, we will come back again in the future but not for the happy hour because of the small bar, lol. Looking forward to having their...
Read moreI like the food here this review has nothing against the food here but more about the managers judgement that was on duty tonight… I came in to dine at 9:00 PM tonight put my name on the list after being told it would be a 30 mins I said no problem I will wait; as I was waiting for my table a man that pulled up in a rolls Royce literally demands a table. Rude to host stand and the host only doing her job tells him that there is a wait he goes to complain to this “manager” saying the host were rude, that he’s a regular and the fact he has to wait to be seated like everyone else is a slap to his face. Shout out to Andrea because she was no where near rude to anyone but only fair. When the man left upset because he didn’t get his way the manger then sees what vehicle he is driving and literally runs out the door to get him to let him know she could seat him. The fact that you let someone disrespect your staff and let him have his way is by far the worst management I’ve seen in years. After I told her that it was unfair this man is seating before me she smiled and shook it off like she didn’t care and carried on to seat this couple ahead of me. Unfortunately I did not dine in and instead went over to cut38 because I refused to spend money where that type of disrespect is displayed not just to me but to their own staff
This review is not to bash on the food or anything like that but to put out what I experienced today from this so...
