Pelican's SnoBalls Surf City — Restaurant in Surf City

As a local I understand that tis the season that money is made. We had family visiting on two occasions and our grandson absolutely loved this place. Long lines and long work days are expected. The owners/employees of SnoBalls were incredibly rude to my niece and refused her and her friends due to a free "promotion" they were running. On top of that, the owner is incredibly immature and treats his patrons as if they were high school rivals. I can not ethically give this place any business, now or ever in the future. It may not seem like a lot, but after giving the full story to several friends and locals all of them agreed that it was a really shady move by them, and then how they handled themselves afterwards was...

Before heading back home we decided to grab a treat for the road.

We frequent Pelicans at home so it was nice to see one here. The one we go to has never disappointed and this one was much of the same. Everything was flavorful and tasty.

The owner was very friendly. We all chatted as the cups were prepared. He even came out front, afterwards to ask if all was good and to wish us a safe travels home.

We look forward going back there the next time...
