Wow.. During tonight's visit the individual taking orders inside refused to listen to our order of three five piece cod, one Alaskan Salmon, one coleslaw, three fried green beans after repeating this order three times the individual read back the order as three Cajun somethings and a salade with a coke. After order was once again relayed and over a 25 minute wait to receive the order it was incorrect. No coleslaw and all boats were cod after 7 minutes debating the missing salmon with two employees we had to break every piece of fish to show the employees that in fact there was not a salmon boat. Then they asked if we we still wanted the salmon or if the cod was fine, fish is fish.We requested the salmon boat and another 20 minutes later we get it While the other food is cold. We had to ask for the coleslaw and show we paid for it because they now claimed we never ordered it. Star earned because we got napkins,tarter,...

This is one of the many Ivar's fast food joints in the region. The quality of the food never changes; good fresh ingredients prepared in the same way every time. It's got the atmosphere of any fast food place. The employees are always very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. I always am happy with the "service" and the food. I'd give it one more star but it's a fast food place with a drive thru window. I know I'm not handing out Michelin stars or anything, but if the best restaurant on earth gets 5 stars, and really good ones get 4 then the most any fast food place should get would be 3. I've lived here in the North West for a couple years now and have always wanted to try Ivars. Being from the mid West I grew up around Captain D's and long John's so I expected similar. Today I happen to be working near one so I ate lunch there. Restaurant was clean and staff friendly so that's good. I ordered the fish and chips. The fries we good. Fresh cut and crispy. The fish however was terrible. Rubbery texture mouth feel not flaky like a normal fish. It really was not good. Also the cocktail sauce was more like cocktail salsa.. strange. Anyway for a $9 meal I'd expect it to be good.. not amazing but good. I won't be...
