My family and I love trying new flavors from different places, so we decided to try this little place called: which is located on W. Commercial Blvd. and 441st Street in a large shopping plaza. The place is small, simple, but with an incredible flavor, WOW! We ordered a Brown Stew Chicken which had an incredible flavor, and you can't help but admire the prices😳 They don't even exist in a Chinese restaurant, no wonder there are lines of people buying their food at this place; that's why my husband and I have come to the conclusion: it's useless if the place has spectacular or extraordinary decor, if what will convince you is the flavor of their dishes. We will definitely return! Ahhh, not to mention that the service is very pleasant, the prices incredible, and the food sufficient and delicious. Why aren't these places as well-known? For their humble decor? Don't be fooled by the decor of the establishment or the dishes, focus on the flavor, which is what...
Read moreBEST Jamaican food I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. The staff isn’t so tight in the face as most island restaurants (as I may rightfully critic given MY island background). They are a little more welcoming. They NEED to work on not closing their doors 20minutes prior to the closing time listed on their DOOR. I only had 30 minutes to get to their restaurant from my old job and I would find them cleaning up, removing food and shutting down the registers LEAVING me without their DELICIOUS food to feed my family for the evening. It’s one of the main reasons they lack one star. Otherwise, their competitors are no competition at all. They also need to open a location in Miami so customers such as myself don’t have to drive 30 minutes just for a taste of their amazing island flavors. If they rectify these two issues, they could take over South Florida’s Jamaican food industry. ...
Read moreI hate to say it but it’s gone so far down hill. The jerk was never traditional but I bought it by the pound and not only was it expensive but just not good. Skin was very soggy. I had to put it in the air fryer. No smoke - that distinct pimento wood taste is missing and I get most restaurants just grill but I believe at snappers it’s just baked. $16 was ridiculous. The fried chicken in the case looked old and cold. What a travesty. Used to eat there so often. No festival… Mid afternoon and no fried dumplin at all…....
