So we (my mother, aunt, cousin, and I) came in at 7:35-7:40pm on a Friday (1/19/18). In line for over half an hour, okay not gonna lie that isn't the worst wait I've ever experienced, but the reason for the wait was frustrating. The crew was going super super slow like they didn't care at all. Now I know that they used to have peak hours, when i worked for a Chipotle, so I could see why they be tired, but they were moving so slow. If they needed a pick me up they could have brought coffee or energy drinks like people I've worked with before have done. The line stayed wrapped around the already small interior the entire time we were there.
We get to order finally, and when my mom goes to order, who is the last of the four us, her fajitas and they were out. When five minutes before the guy is calling back what they need (both rice, beans, etc.), but somehow forgot the fajitas. Now my mom is all about her fajitas and was like I'll wait and it was obvious he thought she would just move on. NOPE.
Then my aunt and cousin who is in front of both of us said they're out of sour cream. We couldn't believe it, still can't, how do you run of of sour cream on a Friday night, I would think they get their biggest shipments every Friday morning in order to combat the weekend to come. So I asked for my burrito to be placed in a bowl with the tortilla so I could hook it up with the much need sour cream later. The girl gave me attitude like I asked something that has never been done before. So my mom pays for the food and waits for her fajitas, while we go to the car and talk about the overall experience of our time there. She comes out to the car and informs us that she believes she got the last of the lettuce. We were stunned, and all i could think of was the huge line still waiting for their food (roughly 20-30 orders I estimate...
Read moreI’m really not a fan of leaving bad reviews, but I’ve had such a negative experience with this location in particular that I have to get it out there.
The staff at this location has got to be some of the rudest I’ve ever run into in a restaurant. I came in not long ago and there were four people standing around, it looks like they were all on break and eating their meals behind the counter, while one poor kid was working the line and screaming out for help. It took five minutes before anybody came out to help.
Once they had another set of hands on the line, and it was time for me to start adding my ingredients, the kid had one earbud in and clearly had his music blasting, because he had to ask me for separate times to repeat myself when I told him what I wanted on my burrito. Each time with more attitude in his voice.
When I was ready to pay, the card reader was not registering my card for some reason, and the girl had to swipe it on her side. She made it very clear what is her body language that it annoyed her, and didn’t try to hide it.
I could go on and on about how disgusting they let the line get, and how gross it is to watch my burrito laying on tinfoil just scooted across globs of sour cream, rice and cheese before being wrapped up and thrown in my bag.
I drive a lot for work, and I am pretty sure I’ve been to every Chipotle location in Hillsborough and Pinellas County, and this one has got to be the...
Read moreI am truly shocked that this Chipotle is still open for business. I would bet money that one of their interview questions is “are you the rudest person in Tampa?” and if they answer yes, they’re immediately hired. The employees at this location are always angry, combative, and unhelpful to say the least. One of their managers, who I call “the cheese police”, once charged me extra for a side of cheese and almost had a meltdown when I asked for the side. He also made a big deal about asking how a promotion worked and insinuated that I should be aware of Chipotle’s policies as if I’m the one that’s employed there. Not to mention how unsanitary this location is. I guarantee that if you’ve eaten here you’ve eaten at least half a rat and 3 roaches. It’s almost like they want their customers to have the worst experience possible so that they can leave the jobs they so clearly despise. I have reached out to Chipotle Support about my plethora of issues with this location, but all they told me was that they would talk to the employees, which they clearly have not done, so I will not be returning to this location (not that anyone at this Chipotle would care because, judging from their attitudes, they wish the worst upon their customers). Only visit this location if you want to get a half portion of food, enjoy eating bacteria/rats, and want to receive the worst customer...
