Came here to leave a horrible review and laughed at how low the rating is already. This place is absolute trash. I beg you people to stop supporting this overpriced fake taco joint so a real eatery can take the space. They should be arrested for offering a 4 dollar taco the size of a pinky finger. I honestly am not even exaggerating. The taco they charge you 4 dollars for is 2.5-3 inches in length, and in my case it tastes like nothing. No flavor at all. I couldn’t believe it and I remember asking the person who handed the food to me if this was a joke. What is sad is all these tourists going on cruise ships will flock to this place and keep them in business when they deserve to close due to their criminal prices. This is exactly what this area doesn’t need. I used the restroom after I ate this and looked in the mirror in disbelief. I asked myself why I did what I did. Why would I pay 8 dollars for two tacos that have about 14 cents worth of ingredients. My eyes watered, I started to pout, and then I walloped myself across the face and told myself to get my life together. Never will I put myself through...

I visited here on a Thursday afternoon around 3 PM. They have a taco deal that includes eight tacos, chips and queso, along with the sweet corn for $34. A friend and I decided to try that. The chicken tacos were very moist and very juicy I would definitely recommend a paper towel. The steak tacos were extremely dry although they tried to add the green sauce on top of it you could still taste how dry the steak was. The pork tacos did have a bit of a kick to them. I think the pork would have been my favorite one had they not overcooked the pork. Similarly, the steak was overcooked as well. Presentation was definitely there with the corn but like a previous comment mentioned it did taste like frozen corn. Me and my friend kept talking about how soft it felt. I think this place has potential but I am not sure I would...

I felt it necessary to clarify the bad reviews here are pure bad luck & unfortunate coincidence. I come here all the time with my husband and by myself for lunch since I work nearby & it doesn’t disappoint. I’m not saying this is Michelin level food but it’s definitely not worth the 1 or 2 star low rating. I’m first gen Mexican American who cooks Mexican food from SCRATCH, and no this is not authentic Mexican food BUT it definitely is good quality street food & mimics the authentic taste of Mexican food. They hire friendly, hard working people that are always happy to serve you. Price for the quality, quantity, & location are fair. Don’t forget these people have overhead to cover. Please don’t let a few bad reviews deter you from enjoying these...

This is my second time here, and the food is amazing. We had quesabirria tacos with a side of nachos , and grilled mojo chicken tacos. The good is great, and service is quick. I gave 3 stars for service however, due to the fact that I was 5 minutes early to open time (11am), and they told me to wait yet 2 other people came up no less than a minute later and took both of their orders before me even though they saw me standing there which was a bit off putting. I can understanding making me wait to prep food, but the double standard is distasteful. At the very least, they should have taken my order so I was first in line instead of making me wait on two other parties orders especially since I was there first.

This was my first time visiting Sparkman Wharf and this restaurant impressed me. This is a window serving Mexican food. The exterior of the window was bright and colorful. The service was very friendly and took care of all our needs. The food itself was very good. I got the Mojo Chicken Quesadilla and was very good. The tortilla was nice and crunchy. The green sauce gave a little kick to it. The fish taco on the other picture also had a kick to it. Overall, I am satisfied with this restaurant. Am excited to try all the other food in Sparkman’s Wharf!
