Retro House’s Coffee Bar and Asian Bistro Cafe has just recently opened their dine in side. Get excited to visit this spot with a vibrant and groovy feel.
We felt very welcomed here. What a great selection of coffee and Retro specials they have including their drink and tea concoctions. they have pastries and desserts that look irresistible. Lastly, on their menu, you will find hot food including dumplings, buns, noodle dishes and rice dishes.
This time around we ordered the char siu fried rice and the crab Rangoon egg rolls. These are bursting with flavor and we are simply a fan. Our first time visiting we also ordered besides this a variety of dumplings and buns.
After our lunch, I ordered the calamansi oolong ice tea. This is a tea you can't find everywhere. Calamansi is a Filipino citrus that is popular in the Philippines. This ice tea is refreshing and happy. I would like to try the mango passion fruit green tea next time.
I also ordered the Ube Panna Cotta. I was very impressed with this. Ube flavor is hard to find, or mostly doesn't taste like they say it is. This one is spot on perfect. It's so good. It's very smooth, has a nutty like soft, less sweet, but tasty flavor. I ate it slowly bc I didn't want to get to the end it was so good.
Our service was great, and very friendly. I'll definitely look forward to coming back.
You will also find a parking lot here so no problem...

Super refreshing and delicious! The crab rangoon egg rolls is super crunchy and full of filling inside. The Soy Parmesan Honey Butter has a crunchy crust and juicy meat. Dan Dan Siu Mai has a lot of pork and shrimp fillings, super thick! Can miss their Baos! My favorite is the char siu, golden lava, and ube bao! The Baos are out of this world! My favorite entree is the black pepper steak Hong Kong pan fried noodles! The steak and vegetables is super flavorful and the crunchiness of the noodles mix so well! The char siu fried rice was alright, the rice needed just a little soy sauce and it’s perfect! Also, don’t miss the dessert! The espresso panna cotta was soooo smooth! My favorite is Jasmine honey jelly! You can taste the Jasmine and the grapes make the dessert more refreshing especially with...
Read moreCute cafe with a vibrant and hip atmosphere. I was super excited to try since they offer Cantonese dishes, dim sum, and drinks. For starters we had the Buddha Wontons which were phenomenal. It's a great vegan option that is super tasty! We also ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Dumplings which were OK. Main dishes we had an Umami Rice Bowl with Char Siu and Shroomami Udon. The rice bowl was great, filling with all its accoutrements, & refreshing from the pickled veggies. The Shroomami Udon bowl is another vegan option, however it was a bit lacking. It came with tempura styled enoki mushrooms were the best part, but the king oyster mushrooms were a bit rubbery. Drinks were also OK. We ordered a HK style Lemon Tea, it tastes similar to the ones I've had in HK, but for 16oz it's overpriced at $6. Mango Passion Fruit Green Tea was decent and Flower Child was alright, nothing special. Be aware of your surroundings, when I went, there was what looked like a homeless man...
