Came in with high hopes—silly me, expecting a wrap to actually resemble food. I do a lot of pickup orders in Ybor, so I thought, “Why not?” Big mistake. Huge.
First of all, this so-called “club wrap” fell apart the second I unwrapped it, as if it knew it was a disgrace and didn’t want to be seen. And then, the pièce de résistance: a whole hard-boiled egg just tossed in there. Not sliced, not chopped—just chilling like it was waiting for a picnic that never came. It rolled right out like it was trying to escape the chaos, and honestly? I don’t blame it.
The banana peppers? Split and tasting like they’d been left behind during a food apocalypse. Spoiled and sad, much like my decision to order this. And despite clearly requesting aioli and mayo, I received neither—because why bother with basic instructions when you can serve culinary confusion instead?
In the end, I was left picking out the egg and bacon like some desperate trash panda rifling through a dumpster, just trying to salvage something from the $10 crime scene on my plate.
Fresh? No. Worth it? Not even a little. This wrap needs...
Read moreDisappointed. I ordered the mixed greens salad with pulled chicken. I was thinking pulled chicken meant freshly cooked and pulled apart chicken breast. What I got was a sloppy pile of torn up Deli sliced chicken. Not like it was busy and they were in a rush either, I was the only one in there, so unfortunately I guess that's how they always do the chicken? Also, I felt very unwelcomed by the 2 Hispanic girls working the counter that day. I'm a Caucasian female not sure if that had anything to do with it, but their attitude alone towards me made me never want to go back. Experience- (1) I asked how big the salad was & she made it seem like it was going to be A LOT bigger than it actually was. (2) They were very cold to me both giving me dirty looks and just not being professional/courteous or friendly. VERY distasteful demeanors. AND (3) !! About an hour after eating the salad I started to feel super awful and threw up!! In...
Read moreUnfortunately, I have to update my review. In the past year, the quality of the sandwiches has gone downhill. The steak au jus, which used to be filled with lovely steak, is now some kind of sliced meat that is just not as tasty. The chicken sandwich has also gone down in quality. Very sad.
This place is divine. The steak au jus and chicken aioli sandwiches are amazing. And they’re huge portions - but so good, you can’t stop eating. I’ve eaten from here 5 times now (dine-in and Uber eats), and every single time the quality has been outstanding and consistent. I hope this place never changes what it’s doing because it’s the best sandwich shop I’ve found in the 30 years I’ve...
