I had been meaning to try this place for the last few times I’ve been in Telluride. I love that they have vegan and vegetarian options, and it’s located in a great location, with a great outdoor dog friendly seating area. While we enjoyed coming here, both my wife and I felt that the food was just OK. Not bad, but not as great as we had hoped. We ordered the falafel sandwich and the mezze plate with hummus, falafel, rice, lentil soup, and taboulleh. The falafel didn’t taste fresh (I’d guess they were prepackaged or frozen then cooked there), the hummus and rice were tasty, and the lentil soup didn’t have any lentils in it nor did it taste like lentil soup. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

'Middle Eastern' in the name of the restaurant has mislead us. Food didn’t taste anything like authentic Middle Eastern. Baklava was super salty & inedible. Bread pieces were hard as brick! Kebabs were too thin & dry. A single thin kebab skewer for $21 was not only expensive but also inadequate as a meal. If you have ever been to a Middle Eastern restaurant, you would know, portion size is something that you can never complain in a Middle Eastern restaurant. This restaurant was exactly the opposite. If you are planning to have a Middle Eastern meal or something close to it, stay mile away from this place.

OVER COOKED TASTELESS NOT GOOD VALUE, ALSO OWNER IS DOING CONSTRUCTION WHILE WE ARE ALL EATING....... BAD DUST CAME FROM HIM TROWING CONCRETE IN TO THE DUMPSTER, RUSHED NO CARE FOOD, NOT CHEAP, TIP AFTER FOOD, HENCE THEY HAVE AN EMPTY JAR. USE YOU TUBE TO SHOW HOW NOT TO WATER DOWN SOUP SAUCE ETC OVER COOKING LENTEL SOUP AND HOW DO YOU GET YELLOW RICE WRONG, WELL ITS MEDITERRANEAN FOOD NOT MEXICAN LIKE YOUR SHARED RESTAURANT, YELLOW RICE WAS FOUL.... STOP DIGGING CONCRETE AND CARE ABOUT THE FOOD......

Don't recommend it at all. We aren't the type of people that send back food and ask for a refund, but we were dang sure close to it this time. Maybe if we weren't as hungry as we were, we probably would have. When he took our order, and I should have known from there we should have canceled the food. The guy seemed mad or bothered. Food took forever, maybe because 2 guys decided to take their break, which is totally fine but the other guy instead of fixing up our food goes over and what seemed like to give those guys a "talking to". Food was bad, bland, and poor for what you pay (more on the expensive side for what you get). I really don't recommend, its not even close to being true Middle Eastern, or even American style...

My husband and I ate here after a long day of hiking and walking around. We were starving! The owner was trying to close up for the day, but there was still a line, and she took all of our orders anyway. So nice of her. I have many food allergies and this menu was so friendly to restricted diets! I got lamb skewers with falafel and salad, all gluten free, and the portions were very large. The salad dressing and tahini sauce were vegan and to die for. We also got a vegan smoothie that was incredible. Everything was just so good, some of the best mountain town food I've had, and the seating area is so serene and beautiful, and right...
