TW: LONG THREAD! Visited today as a first timer with the fam. On arrival the store appeared very clean a few patrons and zero line. Immediately my family and I were sucked in. The young lady behind the counter with the pretty pink eyeshadow started our orders. We explained it was our first time, she was very patient and kind. As we examined the various food options she suggested samples of the protein(s) that made it helpful to build out our bowls. It’s kind of like Korean bbq meets Tex-mex meets Cava set up. The noodles were delish. That k’pop chicken was fire by its self but an 11/10 with the soft ranch sauce!!! We were then helped by lucky 7 (idk his name) he was a nice gentleman with a 777 tattoo. Again, the customer service was not missing a beat. Ah’Brianna rung our order up and suggested things to try next time giving us a coupon for $ off. The food is great I hope Keith Lee comes back to Houston because there should be a line out the door. Give this place a try. It’s right next to cava you won’t regret it. I’ll be back. I love great food and excellent customer service. This is a great...

Disappointing as hell.

Didn’t appreciate the fact we ordered online for curb side pick-up at 5:41pm, with the app saying it’ll be given to us 5:56pm. 6:04pm, me and my boyfriend still without food wondering why we haven’t received our food. Someone pulled up next to us, went inside, came back out with a plastic bag with more than one container of food in it all in the span of 5 minutes. Yet we ordered food 20 minute prior.

We went inside to see it DEAD in the store, one family finishing their food and a singular person in line. REALLY don’t appreciate how their priorities are set. And definitely don’t recommend choosing the curbside pick-up option for this location.

3 employees in the front, multiple cooks in the back, no customers, yet somehow the wait time is as if they have a full house. Hoping the food is worth it because the wait time and quickness of staff DEFINITELY isn’t.

(6:13pm and still without food while 2 different customers have been given food!...

Everything is fresh and the food is very good. This was my third visit. I happened to be at the the restaurant’s grand opening, so I got a good briefing on the company’s roots and trajectory. The location could be better. It’s in a very busy area but visibility is low. I can see the compromise between location and cost clearly here. I hope they do survive, even if only as an alternative to those other “build it yourself” places, because the food is so healthy. I’ll certainly return. However, I hope no more restaurants of the same model sprout up. The sheer freedom of choice and flexibility sometimes overwhelms me. I stick to the “Chef Curated” dishes whenever I can. But...

We were counting the days until Chi’Lantro opened here in Vintage. It exceeded our expectations, and I’m so excited to have Korean-inspired food so close to home! Ingredients are fresh, flavors are poppin’, and the atmosphere is open, airy, clean and comfortable. It feels like you can sit and enjoy conversation for hours here, but it’s also a great place for a quick fresh bite. Highly recommend! If you’re a lover of some spice, the wings or KPop bowl are a must! For those who need less spice, the B’bimbap Bowl is perfect! It’s a great combo of Korean flavors mixed with fresh crisp veggies. Enjoy!

Let’s talk about these wings they got! So this is my 2nd time trying them the 1st time I had a build your own bowl 🥣 it wasn’t bad. It was just decent to me. Nothing really stood out, but it was good now this past Wednesday we order takeout and I get the Korean fried chicken wings 🍗 and wow the flavor on these things are insane. Had a nice little crunch to them the sesame seeds complemented the wings. They were cooked to perfection. It was hard to compare them to any other wing,so that being said if you want some good wings, try them and I can almost guarantee you’ll be back! 👏🏽

This brings back so many college memories and I'm glad they're open in Vintage park (only a few miles from me!). I love that their concept is Korean Tex-Mex fusion style. So you can get Korean food at an affordable price! You can build your own bowls, or ssam (burrito/wrap). Don't forget about their kimchi fries! I've had these throughout my undergrad years and these were life changing (and it's fully loaded with flavor too). Service was so quick and the employees there are super nice (they also help you navigate through the menu if it's your first time!)
