Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Texas

My boss brought several types of chicken salad from Chicken Salad Chic to work one day, and I was immediately hooked! I have tried around 6-7 different ones now, and they're all DELICIOUS!! I've been in to the Katy location a couple of times and the servers were very friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. Last Tuesday, 3/8/22, Kelliann greeted me at the counter with the sweetest smile. I was having a horrible day and was extremely frazzled, but she answered all my (unnecessary, because all the info I needed was readily available on a menu on the counter) questions patiently, in a soft-spoken and pleasant way. She had no way of knowing my sister had just passed away, and that it is still difficult for me to brave the outside world, and even harder for me to muster up a polite smile, so her kindness was even more appreciated than usual or than she could've ever known. It also is a good indicator she is probably always that nice. I HIGHLY recommend Chicken Salad Chic! Every single chicken salad variation I have tried so far was fresh, and very flavorful, and most offer a new take on the more traditional "mom's chicken salad," but they have those as well! Have to say I am a huge fan of chicken salad on everything (salad, sandwich, as a dip). Stopped in to this new location for a lunch treat and I am so glad I did. Walking in the place is very clean and the atmosphere fits perfectly with the concept ( cute southern homestyle decor). After standing in line staring at a menu trying to make a choice on all the yummy options if chicken salad. The owner ( who was sweeping -love it) walked over and walked me through the menu and informed me i can try any or all of their 15 different chicken salad options. The lady taking my order as well as the rest of the staff are very attentive and friendly which is not always common. I ordered the jalapeno holly with a side spinach salad. The chicken salad was very creamy and the jalapeno game it some kick. It was MOUTHWATERING GOOD!. The meal came with a pickle slice, crackers, and a lovely soft frosted cookie (the best treat).

I went in with my son, ordering was fine, got the food decently fast, they forgot my second scoop so went up to tell who I assume is the manager BRITTNEY and she gave me the dirtiest look and yanked my box out of my hand. Another lady gave it back to me and I sat back down. There was a long hair in the second scoop and it was not a full scoop, I don’t even think it was half a scoop. I went back up to show them and they said that i put the hair in there and I am a very dark brunette and the hair was blonde. Brittney was incredibly rude and I recommend changing management because she is NOT it. Even the other customers were saying she was very bitchy to them. She needs to be fired if she hasn’t been already. The other lady remade my whole box and even checked it in front of me and gave me a full refund which I didn’t even ask for or expect.
