DISSAPOINTINGLY Mid. Always driven by this place for years, never been, but I assumed it was decent. BOY was I wrong. I ordered the 8$ chili cheese fries which was definitely not worth it. The "chili" tasted like cheap dog food from the dollar store. The cheese wasn't even warm, and the French fries had no crunch or flavor at all. My friend ordered regular order of fries and it was the same. The Mushroom burger was somehow worse, it was dripping with juices, which is normally a good thing but I've never eaten something so tasteless in my life. The patty tasted completely bland. They cooked it, and that's all. They for sure but they didn't do anything else to it. Mushrooms same story, The whole meal felt like they don't know that salt or seasoning exists. SUPER Not worth the premium price they are charging for burgers. BURGER KING has better flavored burgers. The meal was so bad that when I couldn't' finish it, I declined the to go box and threw it in the trash which I never ever do I always take leftovers but that was so unenjoyable I wouldn't eat it later anyways. For a place with such a small burger menu you would think that it would knock your socks off. The only thing that was worth it was the oreo shake and they DIDN'T HAVE SPOONS. The workers are pleasant, but someone in the kitchen is doing the bare minimum or reheating older food for sure.

This is our first time here, and the Baja burgers were DELICIOUS!! My husband and I have lived by the Spring area for some years and this is a hidden gem! Very friendly staff and if you’re looking for a good burger place…. This is the SPOT!

Great food but HIGH prices. Lunch at 11:15 on Friday, 3/5/21. One employee was on a register and taking phone orders. I was able to walk right up to the other employee who was handling the dine in group. Ordered the small (5 oz) cheeseburger combo which includes fries and a small drink. Total: $11.91. Since burgers are made to order at JAX, it took about 10-12 minutes for my food to arrive. Both the burger and the fries were hot out of the kitchen. The meal was delicious. The chopped onions on the burger remind me of the onions you get at the Orange What burger place. I love those as well. There were only four total customers in the restaurant when I arrived. A little early for lunch. By the time I finished and left at noon there were approximately 20 customers. An employee was spraying and wiping tables as each customer group left the restaurant. Dining room was clean. The only trash can provided is in the front small area with the order stations and drink machine. Therefore, most customers do not see a trash can and leave their trash on the table. A trash can in the larger dining area would help. I realize it is the sign of the times but I still think that almost $12 is too much for a SMALL burger combo. I will admit that it is better quality than what you will find at the Arches or the Box.

I’ve always been a Jax fan, regardless of location, in terms of the food. That said, I will never go to this one again and hope your experience isn’t the same as ours was if you do. We were “greeted” (if you want to call it that) by a rude cashier who rolled her eyes throughout our order. It was 7:30pm and they close at 8pm so I assumed she was simply ready to go home. I was polite and said “thank you” only to receive zero response or acknowledgment. As my sons and I noticed her attempting to bring out 3 burgers and 2 orders of fries all at once, we knew something was about to happen. She dropped my burger and placed everything else on the counter only to lay her head in her arm for what seemed like forever. I decided I needed to head in from the other room to grab the hot food and took everything to the table myself. Another burger quickly replaced the one that was dropped and had been cleaned up by another member of the staff which only made me nervous. It was good either way. As she brought our shakes to the table, I again said “thank you” only to have them and the straws practically slammed on the table with still no acknowledgment or response. I could share this cashier’s name, but have decided to keep that to myself unless the manager would like to know. I know I’d want to know if I were the manager or owner.

The food was good overall so no major complaints there. The shakes weren’t great as it seemed as if the ice cream was too frozen given all the ice chips.

Either way, good...
