Hartz Chicken Buffet — Restaurant in Texas

Terrible Customer Service, Lack of Cleanliness, Empty Buffet...JUST DON'T. Visited this place on Jan 14, 2017 with my parents (about 6:30 PM). Guy at the register was rude. Basically the entire staff treated us like we were just a big inconvenience for making them do the exact job they get paid to do. Buffet had no chicken, which I thought was odd because one might think that Hartz CHICKEN Buffet would have CHICKEN in the BUFFET. One would be wrong on that account. The staff was asked to add some chicken to the buffet, whereupon they proceeded to look at me like I was crazy. Despite my protestations, Mom and Dad insisted on eating here, and since they were paying, I was apt to oblige. 20 Minutes later, we had our fill of vegetables. However, being the annoying idiot that I am (you know the kind of entitled upidy idiot who believes one who pays for a chicken buffet should get chicken at the buffet), I proceeded to ask the guy at the register to add some chicken to the buffet since it had been 20 minutes since I made my last request. That was when I surmised that not very many Hartz Chicken Buffet customers ask the employees of same to actually do the job that they get paid to do because I don't think this guy could have been more confused if he woke up tomorrow with his head sewn to the carpet. Hence, I will never visit this Hartz Chicken Buffet, nor any other Hartz Chicken Buffet again. Unfortunately, Mom and Dad don't really expect much from any restaurant that they visit so I'm sure they will probably be back eating at Hartz Chicken Buffet before Google even approves this review.
