McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Texas

Oh dear!!! I really would not like to give mcallister a bad name Or publicly say anything bad about mcallister, because the staff there is just wonderful. I have to say that they went above and beyond, "But" I hate to say that word.I ordered a chef salad, Chicken tortilla soup, Two Different type of sandwich maybe a club And a Memphian or something like. This was my 1st time ordering food there,! so...I let the cashier know this was for the family. Neither one was what I thought....it was, in my mind. The salad came with no eggs, they got the tomatoes cut up as if you were preparing tacos ( very tiny pieces)I love tomatoes... ok. the soup was good, but (There's that word again). It was their smallest size available, It wasn't enough for... "the family".I really tried to enjoy my sandwich, but Again The sandwiches were two 6" subs, when I clearly asked for enough food for... the family (meaning I didn't realize they were gonna be small size) the tomatoes (from me) are sliced to thin, as I said The tomatoes are gutted out, there's no Mayonnaise, no mustard The sandwich was really dry, the meat was really tasty just not my type of sandwich. To top it all off, I ordered 2 desserts a cookie and a brookie Pickles for the sandwich none of that was in the bag once I got home. When I went back to get the rest of the stuff, that wasn't in the bag. The manager did Give me a one 6" sub, for my troubles. I appreciate that. That made it a bit better. The prices are a bit on the expensive side, I'm not complaining about the prices. I'm just stating, Not saying that I won't ever go back there again to eat, it may...

Whole order wrong, TERRIBLE customer service!!!! We ordered about $65 of food and my whole order was wrong. First of all we ordered 2 jalapeño crunch sandwiches with extra bacon. One sandwich had some bacon on it and the other had a tiny piece. THEN neither had the avocado on them. Then we ordered 2 southwest chicken sandwiches and those didn’t have the avocado on them plus we ordered chips on the side of those and didn’t get the chips. Finally we ordered the chicken avocado salad and you are supposed to get a good amount of avocado. The salad has ONE slice (I have photos. Where customer service come in, or the lack of it is that since it was delivered by door dash we would need to take it up with them??? Door dash didn’t make this food, nor would I want them to open it all up. It’s the restaurant that should check the order. Plus how would door dash know what is missing off the sandwiches?? The only sandwich that was right was the Rubin that my mom received. I asked for the head manager to call me when they were coming in last Sunday and never got a call. I’m still miffed about this. If it was one sandwich I’d let it slide but the whole order? It’s like they ran out of avocado or didn’t want to cut some more or since door dash was delivering it they didn’t Care. I’m sorry but this solely rests on...

We have been going to this McAlister's location for a couple of years now. The food is very good and we have never had a problem. Today we placed a phone pick up order and upon getting home, we discovered that we were missing 1 item, the club wrap. We called the store to see if we could get a refund or head back to the restaurant to pick up the item. After being on hold for about 10 minutes the employee told my wife that the manager would call us tomorrow. Not sure what good that would do as we were eating dinner that evening. My wife explained that we needed this resolved today not tomorrow. After this, the employee told my wife that the reason we could not go back to pick it up or get a refund was because another employee was sure he put the item in the bag. So at this point the employees were accusing us the customer of lying to get an extra 10 dollars or drive back to the restaurant to get a free club wrap. We have never had such a bad customer service experience at any of the McAlister's locations we have visited. We will not be going back here. If you have a pick up order, make sure you check it before you leave as you may be accused of lying about a missing item and have to experience the same...
