I got my usual golden eagle but I think they forgot to add the syrup to it, it had no sweetness at all, I couldn't drink it 😩 This was my second time at this location.
I don't go to this location very often but half of the time I'm not happy with my coffee, and I usually never complain about it, yesterday I got my usual golden eagle and this time it had like two inches of caramel sauce on the bottom of the cup and of course it was super sweet, I got it on my way to work and I did not have time to turn around and let them know, today I stop by to pick up a couple of golden eagles for my friend and I and I thought I'll bring back the one from yesterday to let them know since I kept it in the fridge, I didn't drink it so I show it to them, the manager was there and she was the one getting my order and when I showed her the coffee with all the caramel syrup in it she just basically said, I will make sure you get your coffees right today, you can taste both of them and let me know if there is anything wrong with them, for sure I can taste mine but I would not taste the other one that I got for a friend. Anyway she just said I am sorry for the inconvenience we have new people working and they probably don't know how to make them right yet, she charged me for both coffees and that was it. I guess it was very stupid of my part thinking that she would offer to remake it for me without charging me for it. On top of it she offered to take it and trow it away. I guess she was trying to be nice, this coffees are $6.66 and I stop by at least five...
Read moreI am updating my previous review from 4 stars to 5 as a result of my visit to this location earlier today. I want to brag about Liz who was working the window this morning at the 9415 Barker location. She was as congenial as most Dutch Bros employees, asking how my day was going, etc...to find out I woke up this morning to a flat tire and was supposed to be leaving on a long drive. She went out of her way to brighten my day even though she wasn't having her best. It's the above/beyond of the employees that work here to make each experience somewhat personal and more than just a cup of coffee. It is the recruiting of employees that clearly want to work, truly enjoy it, and want to make a difference in the day of every customer they greet during their shift. In today's tough economic environment, it's hard to be positive constantly but the employees at Dutch Bros do it well. I never thought I would put the recruitment of Chick-fil-a in comparison with any other company but Dutch Bros is in the conversation.
It is employees like Liz that separate you from "the other company"....who in contrast I imagine, might spit in your coffee if you're not either wearing Birkenstocks, carrying a mac book or have a Tesla parked out front with a "Vote 4 Beto...again" bumper sticker. Dutch Bros employees seem to genuinely care and that is hard to fake on a regular basis. Well done, as usual, DB and thank you again, Liz, you and the people like you make this place great. I hope your day...
Read moreThey don’t care about you if you order at the window then the drive-through. We decide to older through the front because we don’t know the menu and I was taking my husband with me. So we Order right and then a few minutes pass and I have work in customer service so I understand and then I see a car pull up to the drive through and has already received their drinks and so I stand at the window wait (keep in mind no one is there, it’s just me and my husband) a worker looked at me and said if we had gotten our drinks and I said no. She said they will be out soon. Okay. Then I see a gray car pull up to the drive through a few minutes later they left. And I’m still stand there the same worker ask me the same question if we already gotten our drinks. (Like yeah I’m just standing her for no reason in the cold) I waited 5 more minutes and I told them I want a refund and one girl said something under her breath and called the manager. The manger told me she can make them right now and I said no at this point 10 cars or more has passed by with their drinks after us. And then the manager said she threw away our drinks by accident because she didn’t know who they belong to. Like I’m pretty sure they are are separated from...
