VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! We came here for the first time on August 4th. We chose to dine in. There were only two customers in the Pick Up line and we went to the completely unattended Dine In order line. We waited several minutes until someone realized we were there. The entire restaurant was fairly dark, which shows they probably didn't want any dine in customers. To be sure, I asked the girl that finally came there if we could dine in and she said yes. We placed our order and then the wait and insanity began. We attempted to get drinks but there was no ice. We tried to get Dr Pepper and there was absolutely nothing but the clear carbonation. See the video. We tried Coke, but it was completely flat. We then went to the well lit Pick Up line and asked about the Dr Pepper. They said they did not have any. We all got Coke instead but when we tried it, there was no flavor whatsoever and it was nearly flat. Because it was Wednesday, it was BOGO for pizzas. When we asked about getting a second one, we were told that we could not have one because we didn't ask for it when we placed the order. I told the girl that we didn't see the BOGO when we ordered and asked if we could still get one. She repeatedly said no, but then said she would have to ask her manager. Several minutes later she came back and said ok, we could have it. There were several tables that were very dirty. Covered with food for who knows how long. We had to ask to have some tables cleaned so we could have some place to sit. Several many many minutes later our food was placed on their counter, but we did not know it was ours. They never called our name or receipt number or anything. I finally walked up there and she said yes that it was ours. We took the food back to the table and started to eat. GROSS! All the different foods did not taste good. It was about 8:45pm and someone came up to us and said they close at 9:00pm and not that we need to hurry up, but she wanted us to be aware of closing time. Thus did not make sense because their closing time is listed at 10:00pm. A few minutes later a couple walked in to get some food and they were told to leave. I guess this location does not care about customers. The only way we will ever return to this disgusting poor customer service location is if it is under new management. Perhaps the franchise owner should take control and get this place a good location or just sell it to...
Read moreHonestly it wasn't the best experience I have had at a Schlotzsky's. It wasn't horrible but I wouldn't rave about it. The chips tasted awful which I have never experienced before, so I went up to the counter and a girl exchanged them without any trouble but she was just unfriendly. Maybe it was just an off day but it felt less than good. Then I opened the second bag of chips and they were barely a step above the last bag, so I just gave it up at that point. I did try a new sandwhich, the french dip on a pretzel roll, which was a pretty passable rendition of the classic sandwich. The bun was chewy and fresh and didn't get mushy when dipping in the nicely flavored broth and the meat didn't seem to be just the regular roast beef but a nice thick cut. Though it did still have a lunch meat taste it was not nearly as much as some of their other selections. Nice as it was I did regret not going for the traditional sour dough that made them famous and might have to visit one soon to get that craving taken care of. Overall cleanliness was good at the restaurant which is always something I notice and it seemed fairly new. Service was a bit slow but I would go again and hope the chips are better and no one is having a rotten day. Eat on my friends and...
Read moreWalked in 45 minutes before our movie started at Casablanca. When we ordered our lunch everybody was sitting down eating which was a full restaurant of people enjoying their sandwiches. Instead of ordering the large sandwich my wife and I ordered the smaller sandwich due to the time to order and the time to eat and the time to go back to the theater to catch our movie. 25 minutes later everybody left the restaurant and we were the only two left in there still waiting for our sandwich be served to us I was frustrated enough and went to the counter to wait for our order to be called my wife and I realized that we were going to be late because the movie had already started by the time we finished eating when we left Schlotzky's traffic was backed up and we were late to the beginning of the movie. We always loved Schlotzsky's but we will never eat there or order anything from...
