I've been in the daytime and got fresh hot great-tasting hot burgers with fresh vegetables for a good price.
But I've also been late at night about half hour before closing time and they come off as the rudest people possible. I had put in a mobile order and pulled up to the drive-thru and nobody would answer. The lights were clearly on and advertised as being open. I called out tried to get somebody's attention many times and nobody would answer so I pulled up to the window and the staff completely ignored me and put their heads down while cleaning and do anything to avoid making eye contact. What am I supposed to do? Since I put in a mobile order I wasn't sure if I could cancel it or if they were closed or they just didn't want to help and decided to close early themselves. After blowing my horn and finally getting the lady I recognize who works the cash register late nights she opens the window and just stares at me won't even acknowledge or say a word. I asked if she was still open and why it's so difficult to get somebody to come to the window because I have a mobile order? She said wait let me check and she come back about 10 minutes later with my two burgers missing cheese and the burgers were pulled out of the refrigerator or something because they never saw a grill ( no heat to them what so ever). The obvious conclusion was that they were closing early and cleaning the grill up and rather than letting the customer know that they closed early, they just leave you sitting in the Drive-Thru line without any acknowledgement, no sign.... They will literally just ignore you and waste your time and if you had an online order like I did maybe you'll lose your money unless you start blowing your horn and make them come to the window. It's hard to imagine what could cause people to be this rude.
How can customers who are making online orders arbitrarily know when the staff decides to shut the restaurant early with no warning and when you made the effort to drive all the way down to the restaurant they just ignore you? Wendy's management at this location you really need to get this night time staff understanding who they work for and what...
Read moreI had so much hope for the location when I walked in with my 3 year old at 10:15am Tuesday Sept 10th. It was super clean on the inside. However, I learned really quickly that the cleanliness of a place doesn’t equal to great customer service. When I walked in a worker was in the dining room in uniform, I gave a cheerful hello, and got absolutely nothing in return. I thought maybe he was off the clock which means he does not have to be kind if he doesn’t want to. Then I went to the register, I was the only customer in the building, I waited for 2 to 3 minutes for someone to appear at the register. A worker finally came over, but unfortunately not to help me. She was consumed with placing cookies in the stand right next to the register where I stood patiently waiting to be greeted. She completed her task of neatly placing cookies, then turned away to go grab more to put in there. I thought to myself am I a ghost! Nobody speaks or acknowledges customers standing at the register in this place. As she turned and walked away is said excuse me? She seemed annoyed and removed her gloves, looked at me, and still never said a word. I then said did you not see me standing here? She barely answered saying how can I help you? I couldn’t believe the lack of professionalism, I no longer wanted to order, she showed no desire to work and even with the cookies she was placing them in there in slow motion. It was just a weird, awkward moment as a customer. I didn’t feel welcomed at all. Hate to pull the race card but the behavior was sketchy and I can’t figure out why else no one thought it was a good idea to acknowledge me as a customer. I’m NEVER...
Read more2/20/2016 I always go to this specific location since they where the best place that I have found so far in Houston. After the bad service I received from this place today at the drive through, I will no longer spend my money at any Wendy's. I went to the drive through like always and a older lady was taking my order, now I turned off my loud diesel truck to make sure we could hear each other, I started to place my order and the lady started to become rude on the microphone, I noticed this in the beginning and I didn't say anything adm when I noticed she kept being rude I lost it and decided to be rude as well. When I politely asked the lady to repeat my order she was mad because I asked her to re say, all I wanted to do was make sure my order was right because I ordered more than one item. When I came to the window I acted nicely and checked to see if my order was right, I asked her to put easy ice on the other order and she clearly knew which one was light ice but instead she decided to put my order light ice, also when people order two orders of chicken nuggets I don't think the order should come with just one sauce and when I asked she wasn't happy. This lady was a little thin about 5'5"-5'7" about in her late 40's. All I have to say was this was the worse customer service I ever received. On top of this my frys and my nuggets where not fully cooked, at the end at least my neighbors dog ate...
