It was the first time my daughter and I decided to try Dunkin’ Donuts before school. I always get her breakfast before school. Never have I ever had to drop her off at school with ni breakfast and then go back for a refund. First, I adore sour cream donuts. I was told it was pretty goid. It tasted like a grease ball. We couldn’t get the muffin wrapper off the blueberry muffin enough to eat it properly. The 2 sourdough egg and bacon sandwiches were so dry, I as an older woman almost choked trying to get my first and only bite down. My daughter literally actually scratched her lip from the dry crust of the bread. Because it was her breakfast she attempted to eat it, but couldn’t. The hash browns were soggy and tasted like old grease and left my mouth greasy with a bad taste. My daughter did happen to keep her iced coffee because it’s all she could salvage and needed a drink to have during school. When I returned the food for a full refund the young girl, that already had an attitude when we made our purchase, rudely told the manager we had a coffee I wasn’t returning. I told the manager that I expected a full return because of having to drive back to the store. The manager, who looked half awake, told me it was “too early in the morning for all of this.” I got a refund less the iced coffee. Which I was mad about because you shouldn’t have to drop your child at school with no breakfast and drive all the way back because the food was so disgusting. For him to not give a full refund considering this is truly a sad way to handle a customer’s complaint that had returned their entire order, but I guess he needed to impress the girl with her bad attitude that was sure to pop off and let him know I wasn’t returning it. She too also looking like she had no sleep. If they think it’s too early in the morning “for all of this,” they need to check themselves because what it is, the s it’s too early for a customer to drop her daughter off at school with no breakfast then turn around and take the food back instead of typically letting bad food you spent your money on slide for what it was…bad food! At least it’s not too early for me to take the time to write...
Read moreWorst Dunkin donuts ever. Half the time I've been there, they make you wait, even if you're just getting a hot coffee. I've twice been asked to "pull ahead" or pull over to wait for a freaking cup of coffee.
Second, you're lucky if your order is correct when you go here, and again, it's not rocket science. One time I got the wrong order after going through the drive through, then parked and came back in to get the right items. The manager told the guy in the window who loudly said "that's not what they said", I guess not knowing I was standing right there.
But by far, the worst thing about this Dunkin is they're constantly out of everything. I mean old fashioned donuts, coffee syrup, tortillas, you name it. Again, half the time we come here they're out of something. They can't manage inventory at all. I mean who runs out of half your donuts by 7am? Or has breakfast sandwiches on the menu but no meat or tortillas or croissants? Awful place, done trying.
Just following up, a year later. This place is still awful. This past Friday a.m. they literally had no donuts available at 7am. None. How are you that incompetent? Also no sausage and some other items. Ordered a coffee with french vanilla, got a coffee with cream, no flavoring. (Was charged for it though). Totally done going here.
Under new management, tried again a week ago. Got order wrong at the drive through twice. Ended up being there 20 minutes when I needed to get to work, just to get money back. New...
Read moreClearly there is some kind of persistent staffing shortage as more often than not in the morning, only the drive through is open and while the walk in is closed. The attitude of the staff they do have ranges from apathetic to rude. Speaking of walking in, they prioritize the drive through so what few people they do have woking there will be scurrying to fill drive through orders while ignoring customers at the counter.
I'm not sure who owns or manages this place, but someone who showed a modicum of self pride and initiative would see the service is slow and the quality and quantity of offerings is hit or miss.
As far as menu items go, they never have enough sesame bagels, and I stop here often as I hate Starbucks coffee. Whatever quantity they order is usually gone early on. Here's a tip- order more. And for whoever happens to be managing the store, here's another tip. Bagels are supposed to be soft, not rock hard like hockey pucks. Tell your bosses to improve the quality and timing of your deliveries and product.
And don't be so skimpy on the cream cheese. It's barely noticeable like they painted it on with a brush!
The music in the store is very loud and inappropriate for a business. How about softer and more family friendly?
Additionally, the store isn't very clean and needs a fresh coat of paint and some new furniture.
This is isn't rocket science. We have other choices and can take our...
