It is rare that I will take the time to post a 1 star Review. I love Bubble Tea. I typically frequent the Valley Ranch Kung Fu Tea. However, I now reside in the The Woodlands, so I was super excited to be so close to this location. I have been to The Woodlands Kung Fu Tea six times, at different times of the day. Four of those times, they have been out of Boba. Two of those times, they have made my drink incorrectly. So, I don't know if they do not use the same recipe/process as the other locations, or if they just don't follow the procedures to ensure consistency. I have worked in the service industry at different stages in my life. I understand that people, especially hungry & thirsty people, can be quite difficult. When I see a facility with a high percentage of salty or unhappy employees, it makes me wonder what kind of energy exists from the top down. That energy of saltiness and unhappiness is finding it's way into my Bubble Tea. The product is not delicious. It is inconsistent with the original recipe. The service is unwelcoming, uninviting, unhappy. Something has to change. Kung Fu Tea is my favorite Bubble Tea place, but this location needs some assessment. My Tea of choice is the Cocoa Cream Wow with Milkcap, just in case they want to make things right. These drinks cost $7.60. It is unfortunate, because when made correctly, it really is delicious.

I had came here several times when pregnant and ordered the cocoa cream wow, it was my favorite due to the warm and cold mix. Every single time I had gone it was fine, when I asked for no ice they’d literally give one ice cube to help accommodate me since they can’t do “no ice” for a warm drink. Today? I was told by the employee NO we can’t do “NO BOBA”. No, we can’t do “ONE ICE CUBE”. When he gave us our drinks I saw both of ours had half the cup full of ice! The employee then grimaced, and admitted he did put a lot of ice. So i asked him to remove the ice. He said “well i already blended all the brown sugar in.. sooo” — which then he took the drinks back, dumped out the ice, and topped it off with a truck ton of milk. we paid $13 for two large drinks of JUST MILK. Worst experience. Drink was poorly made and they weren’t even warm like it’s supposed to be. Poor service explains why it’s empty and multiple friends of mine have complained about the same dude messing up everyone’s drinks. I don’t normally act this way, but if I wasn’t busy I would’ve asked for a refund or someone else to remake my drinks.

Delicious variety of choices! Endless possibilities! Includes treats like bubble waffles & korean hot dogs. Call ahead & order for best results (create your own drink mix, like Taro Coconut). You can specify hot or cold, amount of ice, amount of sugar, toppings (Boba, popping pearls, jelly, pudding, red bean, oreo, & more), and size drinks (hot drinks only one size). They also have caffeine-free, milk-free, and lactose-free drinks. Fresh all natural lemonades! Ask about their seasonal or limited time only drinks, like purple yam! Download their app "Kung Fu Tea" (gain free drinks with orders, more items listed, but can't make combos) or Order on Postmates (some items not included, doesn't always work). Very friendly! Excellent location! I definitely recommend! (As of 3-2-2021 they're looking to hire someone, per sign on their door.)

The only reason why this has a one star, is because the tea is good. I don’t suggest coming here if you’re new. Being someone that works in customer service, a restaurant, and am a barista in my work, the service was horrible. When someone is new, I explain our menu and offer any kind of alternatives or let them know that I can’t do anything else. Girl that was as the register seemed annoyed or just didn’t want to be there. I told her I was new and asked for the lactaid in my hot tea and she told me she could not do that. Ok, I’m fine with that, but she did not try to explain or offer any alternatives but seemed like she wanted to take my order and get me out of there ASAP with how she remained silent. Then when they called me for my tea, I approached to get it but then they took it back and I waited even longer and didn’t offer and explanation or speak to me. Again, they’re more concerned about speed and getting customers out of there. Seems like a bubble tea version of...
