Pressed Juicery — Restaurant in The Woodlands

This was my first time at Pressed. I ordered the original açaí bowl and substituted extra blueberries for bananas and almond butter for agave. Something to note- the fruit was actually fresh and I only had one blueberry that was a little soft. To me, this is a big deal because most açaí bowls I’ve had have soft/bad fruit in them. However, the fruit in my bowl was as fresh as it gets! The flavor was great and I felt the price was fair for what I got. The service was a bit slower than I expected, but it seemed like one of the guys was possibly still in training. They have shots and bottled drinks but they’re pretty expensive for the size. I signed up for the rewards program and received a free banana chocolate protein shake (it’s pre-bottled). It’s made with pea protein and although I’m not a fan of plant-based protein, it was surprisingly good! Pressed juices are always so tasty and refreshing and I’ve always received good service every time I come by except for today, sadly. Awhile ago, a lovely lady was passing out samples one outside the store and she got me hooked on the Pressed x Hilma Debloat Juice so I grab it every once in awhile when I feel it’s needed. I came in today to grab one and there was a young man with short light brown hair running the store, he didn’t acknowledge me when I came in so I assumed he was busy assisting the man at the counter but after 3-5 minutes of them standing in silence and the employee taking the time to briefly look around and check his clipboard, I piped up (loudly and clearly) and asked If I could quickly order my juice to which I was ignored. I was on my lunch break so I didn’t have much time to wait so I just left which is really disappointing because the employees are usually always attentive and kind so I’m not sure what was up with this guy. I’ll definitely come back for my juice just maybe not...

ummmmm...this place gave me food poisoning...

ive been throwing up and going to the toilet multiple times literally minutes after consuming their product. I ordered the dark chocolate protein smoothies and immediately after drinking them, I noticed my stomach started swelling... allergies are one thing, but getting light headed and puking with a fever, and toilet visits, are indicative of an entirely different food handling issue.

please review the expiration dates of your products, and please do an evaluation of your food handling practices. I saw another review here saying they saw roaches in your operational areas.
