I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sixty Vines in The Woodlands and was blown away by the impeccable service provided by Mercedes, our server. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcome.
Mercedes demonstrated an exceptional knowledge of the menu, effortlessly guiding us through the extensive selection of wines and delectable dishes. Her passion for the culinary arts and attention to detail were truly evident in the way she described each dish, ensuring we made the perfect choices to satisfy our palates.
Throughout the evening, Mercedes remained attentive and ensured that our glasses were never empty. She went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary preferences and made excellent recommendations based on our tastes. Her genuine enthusiasm for the menu was contagious, leaving us excited to try new flavors and pairings.
What truly set Mercedes apart was her genuine warmth and genuine interest in our dining experience. She took the time to engage in delightful conversation, making us feel like cherished guests rather than mere customers. Her ability to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening.
The level of professionalism displayed by Mercedes was unparalleled. Her timing was impeccable, allowing for a seamless dining experience. Even during peak hours, she managed to maintain a high level of attentiveness without making us feel rushed. We truly felt like we were her top priority throughout the entire meal.
In addition to her exceptional service, Mercedes also possesses a deep knowledge of wine and was able to recommend the perfect pairings for our meal. Her expertise elevated our dining experience, and we discovered new flavors and combinations that we wouldn't have explored without her guidance.
Mercedes truly embodies the essence of outstanding service. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine passion for her craft are what set her apart from other servers. Sixty Vines is fortunate to have such an incredible asset in their team, and I highly recommend requesting Mercedes as your server for an unforgettable dining experience.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Mercedes. Our evening at Sixty Vines in The Woodlands was made truly memorable by her attentiveness and expertise. I will undoubtedly return to Sixty Vines and hope to have the pleasure of being served by Mercedes once again.

Read moreWe went to Sixty Vines on a double date on a weeknight last week. It was a tough week and we wanted a place to distract, unwind, and have a delicious meal. We’ve been to sixty vines in Plano multiple times, but this was our first visit to this location. Located in a cute outside mall, there is a large playground out front and it is centrally located near the center of the mall. The restaurant itself is huge! Tons of seating, several dining rooms, looked as though there is an upstairs, but we were seated in a smaller dining room off the main space at a table for 4. There is shared seating at large tables in the main dining room, but we had a reservation and were seated with just our party. The service wasn’t exceptional, but the food and wine were just what we were looking for. Two of us did tastings, and I ordered a half carafe. We really enjoy the customization that comes with being able to choose 4 different wines at a time, among a large variety of choices. The tastings are well poured, and the servers are knowledgeable – able to match you with things you like based on your tastes and preferences. The wine was plentiful.
We started with the shrimp and smoked bacon pizza. I don’t think it’s an appetizer, but we all shared it. We should’ve ordered two or three, I don’t know, but one was not enough. I don’t typically like meat on my pizza, let alone bacon or shrimp, but the flavors on this pizza really came together nicely - white sauce, provolone, mozzarella, garlic, scallion, lemon juice, crushed red pepper – delicious. Everyone but me ordered the double cabernet burger for their entrée (cabernet smothered patties, potato bun, white cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, worcestershire mayo, tomato, crispy fingerling potatoes) but me, I ordered the wood grilled bavette steak (mushroom shallot confit, crispy fingerling potatoes, chives, foie gras-zinfandel demi). All of the food was delicious. I’ve had the burger before, and tried them this night, and it was among the best burgers I’ve ever had. Just so much flavor. The steak was delicious as well, cooked as ordered, and I can never say no to well prepared fingerling potatoes. We normally skip dessert, and we didn’t need it this night, but we ordered it anyways. We shared the basque cheesecake (caramelized cheesecake, luxardo cherries) and deviled affogato (devil’s food cake, vanilla ice cream, coffee caramel, nitro cold brew coffee shot). The cherries on the cheesecake were the winner – the cheesecake was light and airy, just not my preference, but the cherries were worth the ordering the entire dish. The chocolate cake and ice cream were just divine. We’ll be...
Read moreI selected Sixty Vines on Market Street for my 30th birthday and highly regret it. I reviewed a few places & I’ve been to the Houston location and had fun, so I thought this new location in the Woodlands would be a great place for my friends and I to celebrate. We arrived for our reservation (made a week in advance) and still waited about 20 minutes, while trying not to crowd the bar where the well is & to not disturb staff, but we were squished by the bar. When finally seating, it truly was another 15 or so minutes until we could even get water from our waiter, and we had to ask twice for water to begin.Drinks took 3x as long and when asking about drinks the server didn’t have any knowledge of the cocktail menu(ex: how did they taste flavor wise, or if they were fresh or made w/ syrups, etc) Our server took everyone’s food order but mine…he finally walked back around us and we had to get his attention before leaving the door again & I had to ask to order my food. this is about 5-8 mins after submitted the tables order. He said he didn’t notice he didn’t take my order. When I asked for drinks or cucumbers he said the restaurant didn’t have any and the bar wasn’t capable of making requested drinks(a cucumber martini or asking for the best gin or vodka drink he referred me to an old fashion) My boyfriend informed me after that he called days in advance & add to our reservation notes of requested a dessert & that the staff did not take the note; the server also had no idea, then when asked he gave push back. We were seated near the bar in the front left room; it is cute seating but incredibly loud we screamed all night to chat, it was only (6) of us and no one could hear anyone else. The only thing saving the restaurant is the chef because the food was good: shrimp bacon pizza, creste di gallo pasta, & beet hummus were some good ones. The staff are very unpleasant and when bringing food they had no idea of what the plates were and there simply is no greeting, welcoming, or really basic kindness. I may be harsh because I’ve been in the service industry since I was 17 but it’s a smile that makes all the difference. It’s Friday you’re busy I know, but you are there to work, have fun!, & we hope they make great money and we are there to enjoy our evening, which didn’t happen & certainly could when engaging. Needless to say, I’m so upset that I chose this restaurant for a big celebration of mine as the table agreed it was...
