Flower Child — Restaurant in The Woodlands

This location has some serious issues with attitude problems… This is the third time I’ve had a negative encounter here… The last one prior to today was when I came with my mother, and she asked where the side of fruit was in the person running orders, admittedly, one of the managers, slapped it down on the table, so hard the juice literally splattered up on my mom, and she just walked away and didn’t even say anything… I was so furious, not just at the service, but that she disrespected my mom like that. Today I came in for a pick up order, and got their admittedly 15 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, but it was icy cold… I’m going to drop it off for a friend and wanted to be able to have it warm when I gave it to her. She agreed to replace it, but I almost would’ve been happier, paying for a replacement, and at least being treated with a modicum of respect and kindness… And said she brought a new one over to me, never made eye contact, and it turned and walked away. I said thank you and she wouldn’t even acknowledge me… What’s with the attitude? We come here, or at least I should be used to at least two or three times a week, as well as for corporate events… But I think we’re going to have to start going to true food or bellagreen because half of the experience of going out is the food the other half is the people/service in this place just leaves something to be Desired.

2023 update: this is yet another time I have ordered from this location (I order a few times a week) I don’t know if the issue was FC or DoorDash, but they got the order wrong again, and then basically said I will just take that item off. Have a great night. It’s a little frustrating because with my partner out of town was trying to do something fun for my daughters, and then the order was not complete. I miss the location back in...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Flower Child in The Woodlands, TX, and it was an experience that surpassed all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the outstanding service, particularly from Jacob, made our visit truly memorable.

Jacob's knowledge and passion for the restaurant were immediately apparent. As a group of six visiting Flower Child for the first time, he went above and beyond by coming around the counter to personally guide us through the menu. His detailed explanations and genuine enthusiasm for the dishes created a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire meal.

I opted for the Crushed Avocado Toast and the Turkey Avocado Cobb Salad, and I must say, it was an absolute delight for my taste buds. The avocado toast was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had, and the salad was a perfect blend of flavors, showcasing freshness and balance. The quality of the ingredients truly stood out.

The restaurant itself was not only clean but also well-organized, contributing to a pleasant dining environment. As a visitor from out of town, Jacob's exceptional customer service left a lasting impression. If I ever find myself back in Floor Child, it would undoubtedly be because of the remarkable service I received from Jacob.

So we went to try out the new addition to the "healthy food restaurants" in the Woodlands. Since it is always crowded we went there after lunch around 2:45pm. That was good because we were not in a long line waiting. The daily soup was a spicy chicken Thai soup. It was good, spicy and had 2 small pieces of chicken in it. One of the chicken pieces was fatty. You could tell there was a lot of fat used because you see the fat swimming on the surface of the thin soup. I expected the soup with no fatty bubbles swimming on top and somewhat creamier, because of the advertised coconut milk as a ingredient. The crushed avocado toast with soft egg tasted good. The toast was to crunchy for my taste. From the kids menu we ordered steak with 3 sides: sweet corn quinoa, organic golden mashed potatoes and parmesan broccoli. The steak was medium well with pink center. Somewhat fatty my girl told me. The mashed potatoes tasted good. Also the sweet corn quinoa mash. The parmesan broccoli was almost tasteless, very hard to chew, not a little soft, considering kids like it more a little soft. The parmesan was just sitting on the plate underneath the veggie. Not melted on top. I assumed they just heated up the frozen broccoli in the microwave and drizzled a little parmesan over it, not melting because it was not hot enough. As a resume I was not very much impressed with the food. All together it was just ok. I would rather go to Bellagreen with the kids or...
