Dunkin' — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I usually don't do reviews but this is just wrong. I ordered a Large Brown Sugar Shaken Expresso. The sign said the med size I believe was $4.39. I figured a large would be a dollar more, so I asked for the large. When I got to the window to pay, the price of the drink was $8.08 plus tax. I went inside to ask why the price of the drink was so much, the said the price for the drink was $4.79 plus $2.00 for the brown sugar, plus $1.29 for the oat milk. Thinking they mixed my order with someone else, I told them I did not ask for those extras. They explained to me that is what make the drink. So I asked why not just make the price $8.08. They looked at me like I was nuts. So I then asked them if I asked them to make me a med one as advertised with out the addons what would I get? She said it would not be a Brown Sugar Shaken Expresso. Once again why is the price not what is advertised. They still looked confused. Having to get to work, I did not have time to continue to argue with them. But this is false...

I decided to go inside to get gift cards because it was the closest location to me at the time. When I walked in I was surprised at how large it was and how unkempt it looked. It's so drab in there and they had donuts in trays just sitting on the counters UNCOVERED where ppl are standing over them. I knew I would NEVER be ordering food from there. I did proceed with the purchase off the gift cards because they can be used at any location, but they didn't even have the sleeves giftcards go into, so instead of spending couple hundred ( for employee appreciation) I spent 25 and decided to purchase additional card elsewhere. Lastly I feel that there should be at least 1 employee that speaks and understands English clearly. I called before I came, because I wanted Gold Medal Ribbon ice-cream. I specifically asked if they had the hand packed, because I despise the pre packed. I called to see if they had it before I came, the guy that answered the phone said," yes we have it, but don't call just come in a very nasty tone and then he hung up. I still decided to patronize this business, because it's not too many that still sell the hand packed Gold Medal. When we got there, the guy told me they didn't have any. I told him I just called and you told me you did. They guy started screaming and was acting really belligerent. Needless to say I didn't receive my ice-cream.
