Downtown Johnny's — Restaurant in Toledo

Cool location if going to Huntington center for an event, but keep in mind, their kitchen is "very small" and they clearly can't accommodate large amounts of people before events across the street. Waited 45 mins for a burger and chicken sandwich until I told them to cancel it, cashed out my tab on a few beers later then food came out as we were walking out the door"on the house" but it was not good at all.chicken sand was a thin (less than an inch) patty tots were not even browned because tried to cook in a hurry, and burger was just blah. Asked server she said she would check and didn't come back. When she did I asked for check.Appreciate trying to bring it out after we complained but honesty was better off cancelling because now we wasted food. It was a shame. Also people next to us came in 15 mins after us and got all their food before us with no issues. Other customers offered their food to us!! Sad. Disappointed. Called and made reservations and they gave our table away and we were 5 minutes early. Not one staff member acknowledged us until we sat at another table that said reserved. When we said we had reservations she said we weren’t there at 5 and we said our reservations were for 520 they said they don’t do reservations after 5 but took our 520 reservations and never said anything about not taking them after 5 and they were seating another table that had reservations after 5 o’clock. "Stopped in" for a drink & food after a wonderful day at the Toledo zoo, we were visiting from Detroit. This place is so awesome we ended up staying for hours! (Hence the quote marks around stopped in.) Their sweetheart of a bartender, Karen, really knows how to make a good drink/shots and never left us empty. She told us everything we needed to know about Toledo and was sooo very attentive! (Give this woman a raise, she's literally making the bar!) The food is DELICIOUS!
