The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in Tolleson

I am a regular customer of HBH Tolleson. For many years, as a matter of fact. The reality is that they cannot keep help and their help is unable to actually serve customers. Not only did I walk away today without buying anything but when I called to complain they hung up on me. Well, now we know where the ineptness comes from although it was always obvious; top down. I like HBH as a product but this store is pathetic. I am not a yeller, not a cusser, a normal person and she could not hear that her store lost business today. I called back and asked "Did you hang up on me?" "Yes I did. You were complaining". I am serious, this was the conversation. Clearly business is not where she should be. I have a feeling complaining is what she hears most; from customers, from employees... I dodged a bullet and will happily take my money somewhere else. It could have been worse; I could have actually put more money into the store. Unfortunately I think Tolleson will be losing a business I wish would stay in a place that needs more upmarket businesses. If you want a sandwich, keep going.(This is true of any time of the year; good luck on getting decent service or trusting the freshness and health of the product being served). I have never ordered a honey baked ham before and will not again. I am visiting in town and staying in my travel trailer so I have no way to cook a ham. I called and ordered a ham a few weeks ago to make sure I would have one for Christmas. They gave me an order number and told me I could pick it up between 7 and 4 on December 24. When we arrived at noon we were told most of the big hams were gone, in other words an order number means nothing. She told me if we had paid for it, they would have had it. When I ordered it I was not told I could pay for it. They brushed it off as seasonal help. I only have two stars because she did find a big ham that had just been cut. Evidently the company doesn't care because as long as they sell all the hams they're happy and prosperous. My business won't break the bank but I...

Wow, this place went downhill. This used to be a great Honey Baked Ham location with amazing quality food. I am leaving this review for management in hopes that they improve the quality of food. Your employees are nice, I had a bad Door Dash order and it was taken care of promptly. I don't place food quality on the employees though. This is an example of management not caring about their business and the poor quality food being served. Your potato salad used to be great. This potato salad I received was rancid and horrible. It tasted exactly like what taking advantage of people's money and food poisoning tastes like. You should be ashamed to serve poor quality not so fresh food.
