I was charged twice (2 cleared charges 24 hours apart from eachother- not pending charges) for food I pre-ordered (called to place an order for a later time and gave them my cc info). Called to discuss the duplicate charge and was told the manager would be contacting me back soon since they weren't in. When I called back 3 hours later to see why I hadn't heard back, the worker informed me she had passed on the info but her manager stated it happens all the time and it's the bank's fault. I requested the manager call me back to discuss further, but they never did. I had to file a fraudulent claim with my bank.
Update 6/15/23: Per your response, you still don't seem to understand the issue, which is not surprising in the least. I was charged twice. This has nothing to do with a hold or a pending charge. No bank would file a fraud claim for a hold or pending charge. The fraud case is still on going. I will update once that concludes. Regardless, your customer service skills are abhorrent and I hope all your customers are as diligent as I was about checking their bank statements after ordering through you.
Final Update 6/18/23: Result of fraud case- Doc's refunded duplicate charge to close claim. I hope people look at the timeframe and realize you wrote your response after you had already issued the refund. Read moreIt’s unfortunate to write this review as we usually have great experiences here. It started a few orders back where our order was undercooked wings after specifically asking for well done. Burned underside to the point where you could taste the charred sections… we chalked it up to a fluke and mistakes happen. Yesterday we order a fairly large order over $125.00 worth of food and the order was wrong yet again. With this being for an event we didn’t have time to sit around for an additional hour to get the correct order. We spoke to the girl on the phone who was great and explained how sorry they were and that she understands our frustration and would like to offer a partial refund and or credit. She states before doing so she needs to get the owners approval. This is where it all goes down hill. The owner basically states not my problem and because we messed up your order by not putting the toppings on you requested we’ll refund the $2.50 that’s laughable! Plus our wings were undercooked again which we clearly state extra crispy every time we order. The owner basically took zero interest in the fact that it’s not just the cost of the toppings missing but the fact that it completely ruined the order when we had expectations when ordering over an hour in advance.
