Worst customer service ever! Me and hubby went in to buy chicken Samosa. Most of the Samosa looked burnt, I picked the one, and she ranged it at $4.30.. $4.30 cent just for 1 Samosa that's insane so I told her to cxl my order, I took back my money and walked away. Mind you, while all of this was happening, she had the Samosa with her, and we didn't touch the food. I told her she could keep her Samosa, and we walked away. She started screaming on the top of her lungs. We ignored her and continued walking
We walked to a different restaurant, and as we were standing in line, this old lady had the audacity to leave her work & walk over to Hagan Das ice cream to start a fight. She was demanding an apology, like what.. Apology for what? I told her, it's not hard for her to void the transaction. She started yelling in front of 10 other customers who were standing in line. Talk about creating drama! She started making threats, called us cheap, and continued screaming on the top of her lungs as she walked away. All this over 1 piece of Samosa.. this character less woman really showed how desperate these people can get for a sale, chasing people, yelling, calling name.. she has dragged this restaurants name along with her. I will be reporting this incident to the better business bureau.
Calling me cheap while scamming people $4.30 cents for 1 burnt stale...
Read moreThis was a terrible experience! After searching for food in the mall after the gym, Taste of India advertised a huge portion of their entree dishes on the display screen. However it is false advertisement as I ordered a chicken tikka masala bowl, the girl literally scooped 1 small spoonful of rice which did not even fill the small bowl at least half way (probably 1/5 of what you would get from Chipotle) and then scooped 4 pieces of chicken and scooped sauce onto the bowl. There was also ONE small pea in my rice. Just for size comparison I attached a pic of Chipotle next to it. Thank you for making sure to include some greens and adding ONE pea in my bowl which cost $9.61. Definitely not worth it. It was not even busy. You basically pay $9.61 for a scoop of rice with a small piece of chicken chopped into 4 chunks with some sauce. Oh for garnish, you may receive ONE green pea to top off your very tiny scoop of white rice. I was still hungry afterwards and went to Wendy's to order a baked potato, chicken wrap and cheeseburger....
Read moreThis place didn’t live to my expectations. As an Indian myself, let me start off by saying Taste of India was more like Taste of trash. The food looks good but don’t let that image fool you. The food wasn’t warm, the guy threw in vegetable biryani when I asked for chicken, which I found out later on. He never mentioned the charge would be additional when asked what type of rice I wanted for the combo, the chicken was very bland and flavorless like it’s watered down. I asked the man up front for green chutney and he replies “no one asks for chutney here we don’t give it”, meanwhile my friend (Non Indian) who ordered ahead of me got it after pointing at it and I had to speak up and say “You just gave my friend some in the container right there” and I pointed at the same one. He felt like he was clueless and goes “oh that okay”. Then I get the bill and it was like $18 for the meal overall in which I thought was a rip off and not even worth it with the taste the food provided. Make sure you don’t let the food...
