I have mostly been happy with my experience at this Wendy’s. They’ve improved somewhat over the years. I used to drive 3 towns over to get better service and if they don’t fix what I went through today, I may have to do that again. I like being able to use the offers on my app in multiple transactions. I am currently unemployed and it helps for that once a week visit for my kids. The people at the register are always great, especially Fior. My complaint is that the restaurant needs to anticipate that surge of customers during lunchtime. I was the only one on the line when I came in and I had to wait because all the workers were busy filling orders. I don’t mind because I am an exceptionally understanding and patient person – I can personally attest to this fact – most people are not as nice. I’m very considerate of others, especially because I know I will need to do several transactions. I don’t want anyone getting mad at me. Unfortunately, by the time Fior got to me, there was a growing line behind me with several people. Me being so nice, my anxiety is up because I’m aware these people are going to get upset. Of course, they see her trying to scan my app, and because Wendy’s was apparently experiencing systems issues, the older couple behind me started to get upset and now suddenly I was the “bad guy”. This is all Wendy’s fault, but the customers behind me blamed me!!! I told them I had been waiting a while too. To the man (the older couple) that said he would pay for my food. No sir I came in here to use my app and it’s not my problem that Wendy’s is having trouble! I said under my breathe "people are so impatient". The wife (the older couple) said she was patient and that I was holding up the line. I wanted to ask her what her rush was – they look like retirees. Seriously? Anyway, I think that’s unfair that no one behind the counter spoke on my behalf to say they were having system issues and that it wasn’t my fault. I dislike that I had to deal with irate customers, and that I was a patient customer prior to them coming in behind me and now I was blamed for something that was not my fault. I didn’t have time to get into it with these people. This was not a good experience. This location needs to do better with anticipating that lunch time surge and opening additional registers would have alleviated this issue. If they can’t it together, I will go back to driving across town (to Franklin Square) like I’ve done in the past just to get better service. Do...
Read moreI love the food but I had a horrible experience with a worker at this location. I order my food which was a Asiago ranch chicken sandwich with only cheese ranch and bacon on it. I received my order with only ranch on it. I went to the counter I told her the bacon cheese was missing she goes in the back and comes back and hands me a plate with cheese and bacon I looked at her she said would u like a new sandwich I said that would nice she gave me a look and continued her job five min go by granted I only took a bite or two out of my original sandwich I ask what’s going on ohh the chicken is cooking another employee tells me. Ten minutes go by I see her making other sandwich’s another five I asked for the manager and magically my sandwich appears and I told the manager I was waiting ten min for my new sandwich the employee starts cursing at me saying I ate the other sandwich it wasn’t ten minutes. I told the manager that is not professional I don’t appreciate being cursed at the women continued and the Maneger tried calming her down I ate my sandwich and as I’m eating I still hear here cursing me out as I’m leaving I said thank you to the manager and I saw the employee make a remark and they all started laughing. Read moreOn 3/30/23, I visited Wendy’s @ 580 merrick rd in lynbrook… One of the staff member working there very rude and disrespectful, screaming at customers…. be aware…. I was really in shock to see the kind of behavior in this place that the main responsibility is to cater to the public in a nicely manner. I personally was screamed at on Thursday night by a young lady there that proceed to show me her degree of screams after I ask her not to scream or raise her voice at me for ordering 2 baconator fries and she gave me the wrong item. This kind of behavior is unacceptable as she called her self the manager of the place she wears glasses and dark skin.
