My wife and daughter went to this abbot’s Saturday April 20th at 4pm. The girl that was working was absolutely horrible. My wife and daughter ordered the chocolate cheesecake ice cream. We thought it was cheesecake flavored and didn’t realize it had chunks put in it. We saw the girl shake pieces of cheesecake in it and put it in the dish. At that point we said oh we didn’t realize it had chunks and thought it was just flavored. We had already paid at this point and said could we just get the chocolate instead and we understood we would have to pay for the one she already scooped with the chunks in it? Wasn’t an issue. She then without a word turned around and threw the cup in the garbage like she was being so put out. She scooped it and then charged us. The entire time not saying a word like she was just so put out and over worked. Please get over yourself. You were asked to scoop ice cream. Not rebuild a building or do anything hard at all. Just be pleasant and scoop ice cream. The job should never elicit such a bad attitude. If you don’t like...
Read moreThe toppings used are knock off brands even though they advertise they have name brand toppings. The Trademark next to the toppings is indicative of the best quality. Unfortunately this isn't the case, Abbott's used to be top notch. I'm disappointed. ☹

I like frozen custard and was even more interested that they serve scooped frozen custard, I often see this as a soft serve. It was a rainy cold day but that didn't deter the custard eaters as there were quite a few guests who came it while we were there. I think they had 4-6 flavors available fresh and lots of packed pints of other flavors to go. Decided to try vanilla since it was our first time. Very smooth, creamy, firm, excellent flavor. If we had enough time I would have gone back to try another flavor. Would definitely enjoy again if in the Rochester area, especially if...
