Traveling through Evans Mills and decided to stop by Wendy’s on the run. We decided to order through the mobile app and used the drive thru to pick up the food. Wendy’s has cooked some good food for many years and is one of our favorite fast food restaurants. We ordered a spicy asiago chicken sandwich combo meal with medium cheesy fries upgrade and the signature blueberry pomegranate lemonade and with the mobile offers available we added the free jr. bacon cheeseburger. We enjoyed the meal. The drive thru had no line and was easy to confirm the order and the food came to the window quickly. The spicy chicken was hot and spicy. The sandwich was not a mess like we can expect from fast food wrapped food. We added pickles and ketchup to the sandwich to test for order accuracy and they were spot on. The cheesy fries were really good, with both the cheese sauce and the shredded cheddar cheese, though it was not salted enough. The Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger was better than expected. We were impressed that there was bacon in every bite, the sandwich was surprisingly not smashed in the wrapper so the sandwich was not messy as we have experienced many times before. If the person at the counter just smiled and went through refund process instead of trying to get me to understand his situation I would have given five stars for service. As I mentioned to him before he tried to get me on his side I worked fast food many years. In the situation where you screw up someone's order and they have to drive all the way back, you need to eat the duty sandwich and smile. Ketchup, lettuce, mayo only, yes that is right. I get home and it has cheese. I call and get a ride lady who said you didn't say no cheese! No I said ketchup, lettuce, mayonnaise only. She said it comes with cheese you should have said no cheese! I repeated my order again I said I ordered ketchup, lettuce, mayonnaise only! ONLY! She nastily said you didn't say no CHEESE.
