I am circling back to an incident from a few weeks ago. As I currently have daily business in Rib Mountain for 9 months. I am popping into Walmart far more frequently than ever before. I am by-passing this Subway multiple times a week, as I glance in at Arthurs hair. My review is not about Arthurs hair, but that could be a sanitary review of its own. ( A couple feet of long hanging curls directly atop the food... For a visual)
My daughter and I intended to eat at this subway a few weeks back. In the center of the line there was a big sign for something like a $6 turkey and ham. I asked the girl working if I could order this special on the sign, without the ham. I religiously do not eat pork. I did not explain this. I just asked the question. She said. " Yes, I could". Had she said "No", I would have simply ordered a veggie sub. My usual. Or, possibly I would have gotten it as advertised and picked the pig meat off. Unlikely, but maybe. But she said yes.
At the register I was charged something near to double for this item. She realized her mistake. (thats all it was, was a mistake. no fault to her) So she called over Arthur to correct the price, as she had acknowledged she made a mistake..
O.M.G this guy that comes over is SO rude. He says "Absolutely not'. "Nope" with his nose in the air. Even with the employee stating she'd made a mistake. Power trip to the nines. He's the team lead he claims. Go ahead and report him. His name is *Arthur" or something like that. RUDE. Unbelievably rude. The poor girl too, she looked like she wanted to drop to the floor due to his attitude. (This is đź’Ż % TOXIC work environment for this employee.)
I mean, a team lead power trip is not impressive to me. I've worked in customer service 30 years. Much of which has been in management. Or, closely alongside management of corporate business. In my experience you'd just honor the employees mistake as a customer sat. And even if it's policy you cannot. One would APOLOGIZE!. Find a solution, show even an ounce of compassion. It was principle, and the stench of arrogance.
This man is not an asset to your business. When he's gone I will return my business.
I acknowledge my lack of business does not mean much financially, to this corporation. But, neither would have giving adequate customer...
Read moreOrdered from here through a delivery service platform for a breakfast sandwich. Got 1 steak egg and cheese and 1 egg and cheese. Both came steak egg and cheese. I, the person who the egg and cheese was for, am a vegetarian. I was really looking forward to the egg and cheese. But because of how it was made it was impossible to pick off the steak and save the sandwich. I have severe sensory issues with food and I was really looking forward to this sandwich. I know this sounds dramatic, but it literally caused me a meltdown that I didn't get the egg and cheese sandwich.
This is the second or third time I've had a completely messed up order from this location. I know that things can get busy and online orders can make that worse with short staffing. But after a certain point it is unacceptable. Turn off the online orders if you are too...
Read moreWork ethics are questionable at times, customer service is abysmal on busy days and sometimes on super slow days. Music is sometimes played to loud i'd think they would set it to low as it is a casual setting. The cookies are sometimes burnt to the point you chew them its charcoal. It's a Wal-Mart subway i wouldn't expect too much from them nor would i expect too much from teens. Overall a 3/10 i'm sure they could do better if they actually tried.
Pros- Morning workers are great! Tables and chairs always cleaned. Good selection of chips and pop.
Cons- Abysmal customer service. Evening workers are the worst part of this subway. Cookies always burnt. Sandwiches always fall apart. Bread are sometimes burnt or under cooked. Pretzels...
