Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

I go here because it’s convenient and to be honest, because it’s clean and the coffee is usually made very well. The only drawback, which is a substantial one, is that the owner and manager have been very rude. One occasion, k-cups were purchased that were improperly packed with the wrong ones and they would not take them back and refused to refund it or exchange it. I go here just about every morning for a cup of coffee. Today, I specifically ordered a “hot” coffee and when I was brought a cold coffee, I was being polite and didn’t want to make a big deal of it and said “oh, I wanted a hot coffee, perhaps I didn’t make it clear.” The manager responded “that’s not what you said.” and walked off to remake my coffee. Now I knew that I specifically asked for the “hot” coffee and have been doing that for awhile because this mistake happened prior, I just was being polite and letting it go. However for her to state I didn’t say that when I did, and even to be petty about it is not good customer service on their mistake. Regardless, I took it after she came back and said thank you despite her rudeness. Not sure what happened to this location been here many times before but will never again. Rudest staff and manager. Young inexperienced girl made wrong drink when advised started to make another but small size which effected the price. When I questioned should it be a large to match price they charged me she stated I'm not making another I already threw out one! can you imagine saying that to a customer. I was so shocked I asked for manager and she said well someone else heard you order it wrong. This says to me Dunkin is not interested in providing 1st class customer service and satisfaction and these two employees reflect horribly on the franchise. All I wanted was a single scoop with the cone on the side... this very upset young man charges me 2 dollars and gives me a plain cone. When I say I want ice cream he decided shake his head, give me a dirty look and charge me an additional 5 dollars. I of course complain and he tells me pay 3 dollars then 2 dollars (I didn't even know they can make up prices) then tells me hurry up and kept asking me if i was broke. I call to complain and I Clearly hear it's him.. he says this is the manager BOB do what u want to do. I'm not writing this for my 2 dollars back.... its so sad how these kids are so rude and don't want to work... As far as this guy ohhh yea hes happy one that...
