We went on what was probably their busiest day ever. I knew they had recently opened the kitchen. We popped in after Porchfest to see if we could get a table. It looked crowded, but we gave it a shot. There was seating out front on the deck, but we waited, and no one came out. It was seat yourself, but nobody new we were there. First suggestion is have someone seat you so they are aware who is waiting. We were able to find 2 seats at the bar inside. They also have seating outside in the back. We cleared the dirty dishes from our spot, and waited probably 15 minutes just to get water. Mind you, the place was packed, and I'm a patient person. We were able to get menus but took 45 minutes for them to take our order (timing is everything....we were getting ready to leave).. I am in no way bashing the young lady behind the bar. She did not have near the help she needed. She should never have been responsible for all the inside patrons....well, there may have been a couple tables that someone else did. Mind you, we were seated at the bar and heard her quiet pleas for help. I think everyone was so overwhelmed they didn't know which way to turn. The kitchen appeared to be working well. Food kept coming up, but then it would sit there. We were right across from the window, so we knew how long things were sitting. 20-30 minutes. I think that was the main thing that could have been improved. There was no one that was expediting the food. There was no way for the servers to know their food was ready. They were too busy doing other things and it just sat. Thankfully, we had a front row seat and we got ours shortly after it hit the window. We had salads and wonton nachos. Both were good. So, all that to say, they have some kinks to work out. Is the food good, yes. Will I go back? Yes. Probably on a weeknight when it's not crazy. They need to get their legs under them, but I'm hoping they'll do well. We need...
Read moreWaitress was awesome and the staff was great!! Very accommodating and kind. Food was good. Had traditional wings and it was double wing day. The dry rub could of used a little more salt but I love salt. The house salad was huge and good just wish there was a better selection of dressings and housemade dressing choices. My mom got chili and it was cold but she didn't want it replaced or warmed and so they accommodated her really well I must say without us even complaining, they surely deserve the best at customer service; by far the best I've ever seen!! My sister got fried mushrooms and they were yummy and house aeoli was very good. And she had the chicken chunks and she said the buffalo was really hot. She would of rather of of got the sauce on the side next time. We will be back to try out some great looking...
Read moreAte here last year after a bike ride. The food was good so I suggested to my girlfriend that we check it out together sometime.
The food from the second visit was pretty good with the exception of the sweet potato french fries. They arrived from the kitchen burnt almost entirely black. Being the good sports we are, my girlfriend and I tried to pick around the burnt bits but eventually mentioned it to our waitress and inquired after a refund or replacement just for the french fries. She replied that, "No ... we shouldn't have eaten them if they were burnt black". In retrospect, this was good advice from her but a bit hypocritical since she should not have brought them to us if they were burnt black. We did not enjoy this experience and have...
