My husband and I made reservations for our 7th anniversary for 7pm, we sat at the front door waiting to be seated for a few minutes, once seated we were sat very close to another table and the hostess scrambled to clear the additional place settings from our table while we were sitting down. We were seated in kind of an awkward spot in the restaurant, right up against a half wall/ another party and right underneath the speaker. Our server did not come by to take our order for at least 30 minutes, we ordered everything all at once since we had the time to view all the menus, we each ordered a cocktail, the meatball appetizer (you get 2 meatballs half dollar size for $18) We ordered two 12 ounce filet mignonā€˜s (they were tender, cooked right, good flavor with the garlic butter, the garlic butter is an extra cost) and 4 sides to share (asparagus, scallop potatoes, lobster Mac and cheese, roasted cauliflower) the asparagus and potatoes were very bland in my opinion, the roasted cauliflower was over marinara which seemed weird because you would expect roasted cauliflower to be crispy and over a white cream base sauce or even just garlic butter. However the lobster Mac and cheese was delicious, lots of hearty lobster pieces to enjoy and the flavor was very tasty. Our cocktails didn’t make it out until after the bread and appetizer was served, took around 40 minutes to receive our first round of cocktails, (cocktails are $18 and you get around 4oz to sip because they are very strong I would assume) we ordered another round immediately so we would have something to drink with dinner. During dinner we decided to order a lava style cake and scoop of ice cream to share because we were told it was the best desert on the menu and it takes around 30mins to prepare, I’m not sure why it takes so long to prepare considering it was like a chocolate sponge cake with melted fudge, three raspberries and a scoop or ice cream lol but it had a nice flavor, it was good but not like amazing or anything. All in all we had an okay experience, being sat so close to another table and right under the speaker made it hard to hold a conversation, also our server was friendly but not super attentive (maybe they struggle with holding staff) the food was 50/50 some if it was really good and some not so much. I gave 3 stars because I believe there’s room for improvement especially when someone makes reservations for 2 for their anniversary and are seated at a table with 4 place settings, my husband did say something about an anniversary note or something that was also supposed to be placed on our table but was not. When we go out we aren’t shy about spending money but I do believe we paid way more than what our experience was worth. Our bill with tip came to just over $360.00. We may try again in the future and if we have a different experience I’ll update our review.

I so badly wanted to give a 5 star review as I was so excited to go to this particular restaurant. My husband made reservations a week prior to Mothers days and we took my Son his wife a their little one. It was also my younger son with my husband and I. I am not sure if they were just not prepared for the larger groups, but I would think that with it being Mothers day they would have prepared much better. We arrived for an early dinner (3:45) After being greeted at the door and sat at our table, on time, we were then greeted by our first waiter Jonathon. He was very pleasant and seemed to enjoy having us. He interacted with everyone at that table and made us feel right at home. We all placed our drink orders and I requested a tasting of one of their red wine, Jonathon brought waters to the table and then it pretty much went down hill from there. Jonathon brought everyone their drinks except my tasting, and we placed our appetizers consisting of Oysters on the half shell, bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp cocktail. A bit later we were greeted by Andrew who then took our main order. My younger son ordered the Miso Sea bass, I ordered the mothers day filet special Med Rare, My husband ordered the Ribeye, Med well, My son ordered the Ribeye Cajun (med rare) suggested by Andrew because he too was going in between the 2 ribeye's. My DIL ordered the Strip steak well done and a chopped salad. She was told that the salad would be served after the apps as a second course. I also asked for a glass of wine realizing I was not going to get my tasting and Andrew suggested the Harrison Pinot Noir with my Filet. My son, then decided to change his order to the Tomahawk Med rare and Andrew was very pleased to make that change as he felt this was a much better steak. We then sat for some time without anyone checking in on us, Fortunately we are a pretty close family and because of that our visit was not a total loss. I however sat for close to an hour before my older son had to approach the bar to remind the servers a third time about my glass of wine and a refill drink for his wife. My DIL received her salad, before the apps. Mr. John came by our table and greeted us and said happy mothers day and interacted with everyone. He was swooned by the little ones at our table and was very kind and enthusiastic. It is a real shame because for the most part the interactions with the staff was pretty great, but the servers seemed to be struggling to keep up with the bigger tables. WELL Over an hour later we still had not received our apps, and I questioned Jonathon about them. I now believe that they were never ordered, because about 15 minutes after that the expediter was serving our main courses. I was frustrated at this point. We arrived on time for our reservation at 3:45 and did not get served our appetizers nor my very expensive $26 glass of wine well closer to 2 hours asking 2 different servers. I said something to the expediter about not getting our appetizers and he apologized and was clearly embarrassed. Mr. John then came back to our table and we gave up on the Shrimp cocktail but did accept the Oysters and scallops. Oysters were mediocre, and I felt the scallops were under cooked. They messed up on the cooking temps for my son and DIL steaks, His Tomahawk was well done and her strip steak was Med rare, my husbands Ribeye was cooked rare and not seasoned well at all. My younger sons sea bass was delicious and I was very pleased with my Mothers day filet. Overall, our bill of almost $700 (before tip & even with the apps taken off) was not as impressive as I had hoped. Our family very much enjoys visiting higher end restaurants and had heard very nice things about Morton's, however this visit left us feeling a bit cheated and not likely to return. My husband and I both come from the restaurant industry, higher end style included and we both felt that there should have been more done outside of taking off the missing appetizers. The visit seemed very chaotic and not as smooth as you would expect from a restaurant of...

My first Morton’s experience was on a Sunday for my brother’s birthday with a party of 9 and was a complete 5 star restaurant ā€¼ļø Steak is always a good recommendation. 10/10 Truffle fries 9/10 are good and fresh , the bacon wrapped scallops were tasty. 10/10 Caesar salad 10/10 The Mac n cheese was fine , 7.5/10 it had a spice to it and I do feel like that over powered that full cheese taste which covers up the lobster itself, especially since they don’t give that much lobster. I also had side sour cream potatoes, they were a little hard and not as creamy I expected it to be. They also were Lukewarm. 6.5/10 I didn’t say anything because it wasn’t a big deal. Food presentation also lacked a tad bit 7/10. My 8oz steak tasted great !! But when I saw it on the plate I kinda had my doubts. SautĆ© spinach and mushrooms were a great add with my steak , just needed a little salt and pepper 9.5/10

Lemon drops and old fashion was ordered by the whole party. 9.5/10 on both drinks. And most of us ordered two drinks. All drinks were tasty. You do get a nice buzz . Two lemon drops usually has me drunk drunk cuz I don’t drink like that but I wasn’t that drunk leaving. Just a very nice buzz so that works. One drink came with a piece of steak which was a good conversation at the table. I don’t think it was an old fashion tho. Lol

The vibe is a quiet dim lit room. You will need to use a flash were talking pictures cuz it was very dark I barely could see lol jk!! Kinda small when you walk through the door at the host station. One side was the bar area other side was the dining room . The bar was actually longer than expected, not sure if you can walk up without reservations. Bathrooms were clean but on the small side too. They play classical music which I loveeee.

The only negative thing I would say is since they were out of the side 5oz lobster tail than they should have substituted the 8oz with an up charge for the inconvenience to their guest instead they wanted us to pay for an entire entree for one lobster tail or twins . Doesn’t make since but I figured from a management stand point they didn’t want to lose money due to being out of stock with the 5oz. My brother still ordered his cuz it was his birthday and the tail was a big size. I however, Declined, thank you to my waiter for breaking it down for me as well. The lemon drop was getting to me. Lol I can’t remember his name but he on point and on top of everything with explaining.

But to be honest the customer service exceeded my expectations more than the food.10/10 And that was a good thing because I know how tough it can be with a big party and the different orders. That is why I’m giving them 5 stars. They added my brother name on the menu without me asking, which I thought was great because I wanted him to have that originally but couldn’t get around to call and ask. Took our pictures for FREE and printed it out for FREE. Gave his a free big slice of cake and it was really good too. Checked in on us , made sure we had enough lobster in the lobster Mac n cheese!! You guys exceeded my customer experience. My boyfriend and I will be coming back for date night and we usually go to Flemings or Ruth Chris. You will pay a pretty penny but atleast you get...

I’ve been wanting to try Morton’s for a long time- We saved for a bit to enjoy the experience- not all steakhouses are equal in what they deliver, although very similar in price point-

Service was great! From the moment we were seated to the moment we left- The hostess area was rather lacking. Considering they really weren’t busy, the girls were flat in greeting us- But our waitress totally made up for any flatness we felt upon arriving- She was attentive, knowledgeable, and good at the upsale of different menu items- Water glasses were kept full- table was kept clean- and cleared of clutter-

Very nice and modern, updated furnishings-just the right amount of lighting- I love that they do not have all of the tables tightly packed together; packing everyone in like sardines-

Food: Shrimp cocktail was great! 5 jumbo shrimp- fresh tasting-I liked the presentation of the cocktail-

Lobster bisque was absolutely delicious-

Prosciutto wrapped mozzarella which was recommended by the waitress was not a favorite. I would’ve preferred fresh mozzarella topped with a little bit of prosciutto and the balsamic glaze and arugula over the cooked version

The Caesar salad was delicious. Fresh, good flavor to dressing- Although it is enough for two to share it was my side to go with my steak😊

Steaks ( fillet and ribeye) were flavorful, melted in our mouths BUT I feel that in these types of steak houses, with the price point these steaks should be cooked perfectly-The person preparing the steaks should know how to prepare a medium steak- we both ordered medium, and our steaks were definitely medium rare to rare. Luckily we didn’t mind too much, but I honestly almost wanted to send mine back because it was almost too rare. At $66 it shouldn’t have to be sent back- maybe at Texas Roadhouse or Outback…steakhouse but not Morton’s-

Now the bad… The sides were so lacking. I have received better sides in mediocre steakhouses than what they offered here. Nothing really grabbed us except for the baked potato, which is typically what we get or creamed spinach. But the waitress talked up the Brussels sprouts, and the Gouda smoked scalloped potatoes-So we got them- we didn’t like them at all-we thought the brussels sprouts were going to be roasted and have a nice caramelized roasted look with some bacon and honestly they just looked like steamed brussels sprouts. They were mushy and gross. The scalloped potatoes were horrible. There was such a funky flavor and it was just mushy glop, no bacon… and I would expect so much better in this type of establishment, especially again the at that price point…we barely touched them- The sides shouldn’t be a second thought- They should be as good as the steaks

The huge loaf of bread was awkward to cut, made a big mess with crumbs —- served hot but honestly we didn’t eat even half of it- Dinner rolls would be preferable…

For what we spent on food/drink, I really want the experience to be great across the board - overall it was good but not sure if I would...
