STAY. AWAY.
Hands down one of the worst dining experiences of my life, if not the worst.
Our party was sat, and given pitchers of water and empty cups. Then our server disappeared for the first time.
Both pitchers gone, ice melted, and also drank. The table behind us offered us their melted ice pitcher, which the waitress overheard and stated "Well, it's hot out." We finally got her attention and asked for more water, by approaching her in the restaurant and handing her our empty pitchers, also saying we were ready to order.
45 minutes later, we recieving our uncooked food, chicken specifically, which was still pink with red blood spots. For all three of us who ordered chicken. This was the last straw, so we left a $5 bill for the iced tea which was the only thing they got right, and walked out.
Upon leaving the restaurant, two of our party proceeded to place their baby back in its stroller, after first removing the booster seat the staff had decided to store on their stroller.
The waitress came out of hiding, and we explained to her that we were leaving and why. In the most condescending, and impolite tone I have ever been spoken to by someone in the service industry, she says "Well first of all, it's the hue of the umbrellas we use to cover the patio--."
It was at this point I heard enough, and stopped listening, and advised her again that we would be leaving, and the money for the tea was on the table.
One of our party who had started leaving before the waitress confronted us, attempted to inform the bartender of our intent to leave, and why. He shrugged and said, "ok, well have a nice day."
It is very apparent due to our experience, in addition to other reviews I'm reading that they are very used to this by now. Our experience seems to be just one of many, and the establishment has no problem with it whatsoever.

Read moreOn our way back from Tahoe we decided to grab something to eat. We were 5 Adults and 4 children. We decided to try out this El Toro Bravo due to positive reviews. I didnt know what some of these people thought so highly of this place. I ordered 2 chicken enchiladas and a Menudo. The rest of the party ordered Asada plate, Burritos and additional menudos. The enchiladas sauce was watered down with no flavor. The Menudo tasted as if it was out of a can. The waitress was rude and not one time offered to refill out drinks. 45 minutes after being seated She dropped off our food and never came back. My son orderd a burrito and I made sure to tell her that he wanted plain rice, beans and Chicken (no vegetables). His was the last item brought out. We realized the burrito had vegetables we had to hunt down our waitress to tell her. She then said that how all the chicken comes and walked away as she said it. She did this on several occasions without letting us respond. We had to talk to the manager because we felt that she didn't try to even try and show any empathy. The manager was the only bright spot he comped us the menudo and drinks. The part I do not agree with is our waitress automatically received a 18% gratuity for not even putting in a pinch of effort into serving us. Seems like from the get go she knew she was going to get her tip because they charge 18% for a party of 6 or more, so she didn't need to provide an ounce of service. Needless to say this place will never get our money again. Worst...
Read moreThe worst customer service I've had in awhile. Just went there with my family, including my 9 year old son. From the moment we walked in we weren't quite sure if you sat yourself waited for a hostess or what. We patiently waited to be greeted and given instruction. The bar tender was probably the most hospitable and let us know that a young woman would be there shortly. Then from the moment we were seated we were given a pitcher of water (no cups) and ignored. From that point on not a single staff member looked in our direction. But we continued to be patient. 20 minutes go by and I notice that 3 other tables were sat, given chips and salsa, a pitcher of water, WITH cups! Being understanding that its a holiday weekend we continued to wait. Then i watched a group of young ladies be seated. Told my boyfriend that if they were given the customary greeting, water, chips and salsa that we would get up and I would inform them that they had completely ignored a family. So we were ignored and got up from our table. I calmly walked up to a male staff member with a ponytail to let him know the situation. He again ignored us, made no sincere apology , gave no concern where they went wrong, and with his back turned while walking away shrugged and said "ugh sorry folks." So at that point we stormed out of the restraunt completely baffled. And another family had done the same. I'm still completely confused. Was it the heavy amount of tattoos we had? The fact that we had a child with...
