Piper J Gallery — Attraction in Truckee

My spouse and I were driving around the circumference of Lake Tahoe (easy day trip if visiting Tahoe) and stopped for lunch. We looked up “art galleries near us” and the Piper J Studio caught our eye.

Piper was painting her next piece as we arrived at her studio. Her art on display spanned more than one style and, while we prefer Plein-Air landscapes, there were various paintings of outstanding quality.

Piper was a joy to talk with and her loyal studio dog even chimed in once or twice! We never felt rushed. We picked out three paintings and are thrilled this evening as are these are displayed in our AirBnB until we finish our vacation then will be placed at our home in the desert.

I think Piper is the “Aspen Whisperer” due to her amazing paintings of Aspens so one of the paintings we bought today of course showcases Aspen trees.

This is such a lovely art gallery, but it’s more than just a fine art gallery… Piper has done a phenomenal job of creating a feeling of community through this gallery, whether you’re one of the featured artists, a collector, an interior designer, or someone within the community! The caliber of artwork is so inspiring and unique, there are many opportunities to meet the artists, and customer service is always top notch.
