Craft and Logic Taproom — Restaurant in Truckee

In town for a few weeks and decided to try Craft & Logic based on their menu posting. I really wanted something other than onion rings or a burger!

It appears this place opened up about 2 weeks ago. The atmosphere is hipster; think brass finishings, dark paint, white tables and mounted antlers. Patrons are friendly and in nice button ups.

Folks pouring drinks are incredibly kind, helpful and excited about Craft & Logic.

I tried a Brooklyn Brewing Co Rosé cider for $11/pour. I also grabbed deviled eggs, topped with kimchi and onion micro greens. Jesus they were good!!

My brother who’s a fan of beer, felt their beer selection was excellent. The staff said the concept is to provide options that Truckee may not have access to. Ironically we saw some breweries we have back home (Original Pattern & Pizza Port); both are incredible breweries.

Next time, I would try their charcuterie board ($24) or just the stuffed olives ($6-$10is??)

Great ambience, wonderful view and excellent service! We dined inside with a party of five. Staff continuously bussed our table as we cleared through the food. The grilled cheese sliders were delicious. Asked the staff for a few hazy IPA recommendations and both were solid.

Had the opportunity to chat with the owner Austin who was warm and welcoming. His decades of experience with beer and wine shine brightly through his eclectic selection of hand-picked beers on tap.

Outdoor patio has plenty of seating with two levels & plenty of space. Craft and Logic is great place to bring this kids and pups, Also saw some people playing card games. Looking forward to future events and...

Loved this spot, felt like a truly elevated bar experience - from the custom made taps to the unique food menu to the top notch customer service from the owner, Austin. Great guy who takes pride in what he’s built. And he honestly did a great job! The beers and bevs he’s curated are delicious. I’m a sucker for a beer flight. We also had the deviled eggs(woah), chili (add jalapeño, just do it), pretzel with beer cheese, and prosciutto/apple sliders - it was all very tasty. The interior decor and details are beautiful and the view from the patio deck cannot be beat. Even the throwbacks music playlist was spot on. Overall, solid place to check...
