Visited the shop during a short trip to watch my son in a sports tournament. I wanted to fish and Austin was incredibly friendly and very helpful. He wasn’t a salesman pushing gear, and gave helpful advice on where I could find some success and the flies I might be able to use. I’d 100% go back to this shop anytime I’m in town. They have a ton of nice equipment and plenty of flies. They’re very friendly and aren’t worried about gate keeping info from those that want to enjoy fishing. I’ve been to shops in Colorado and one in London that were very elitist and really quite rude. Here I felt welcomed and appreciated how I was treated. This morning my family and I had a fabulous and fun filled day with Nate and Finn , the professional guides. All 5 of us caught trout and learned a lot of tips about fly fishing. Nate and Finn were the best! They were helping us the whole time individually and in a group. They also personally helped me the entire time navigate some of the challenges getting to the areas that we fished as I have a knee replacement surgery in a few weeks. They were unbelievable in their kindness and help in making sure I did not fall. The rest of my family did not need assistance as it was not that difficult. Yeah I know I just posted a review about the guide service and how awesome it was but this time I went back in the shop to pick up some gear to rig my current setup into a euro nymphing one. Gabe went above and beyond to help me. I was expecting to go in there and buy what I thought was right but Gabe not only helped me save money by suggesting another method, he spooled my entire reel with the new materials - all the while talking about techniques and methods that would help me on the river. It was a great chat! Don't be afraid to ask these guys questions because they obviously genuinely enjoy helping people out....
