Shari's Cafe and Pies — Restaurant in Tualatin

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I ordered trio of quiche, caprese salad and pie. The greens on the salad was wilted and the tomatoes were green, the quiche was good. I knew my pie was to go and mentioned it twice to waitress. It took her 10 min to get back to our table after we were finished eating and another waitress checking on us to come to our table asked how we wanted our pie, I said marion berry and they they didn't have any, so I went for my second off the menu northwest berry trio and she said "oh, we don't carry it anymore " . I stated that I only like berry pie. I asked if I could have a reduction on the price since they couldn't fulfill my order and she said no. Asked if I could speak to her manager and said she would get her supervisor. Supervisor came up to register was really snarky when she came and advised me that I should have inquired about the pie before I even ordered, I told her that I didn't know I had to do it before I ordered off the menu. I should also be careful because I made her waitress How's it going over not having berry pie! Let it be said, that all I asked was a reduction on the price since they couldn't fulfill my order. I am in no means taking the blame for making a waitress cry over not having a certain pie. The "supervisor" continued to scream at my husband and I on how bad of people we are and should be ashamed of ourselves. This "Supervisor " should not be in...

My family and I met for lunch at this location today on my lunch break. I ordered the "Famous" stuffed hash browns with sirloin as I have 6 times in last 6 months (usually at other locations. When the food was delivered My first observation was that the quantity of hash browns was HALF the usual. I shrugged it off until I cut into the hash browns and then the steak. The hash browns were usually moist and full of sour cream and cheese...these were completely dry and disgusting. next the Steak... I asked for Medium...Got RARE. I politely asked for the manager (Tom King, I believe), and started to explain my issues with the food quality. He immediately interrupted, stopping me mid sentence at the hash browns, ..."I assure you sir they are made exactly to specifications, I put ALOT of sour cream in them, sure they could use a little more cheese though." My explanation of this being a dish I eat Often had no affect...leaving his abrupt rudeness aside and realizing he was not going to do anything about my concerns, I thanked him for stopping by and proceeded to eat before having to leave for work. His customer service in handling the situation was below par and neither I or my family or anyone I know...will be patronizing this location again. Only reason this visit got 1 Star is due to the free slice of pie I claimed from my Shari's Rewards. otherwise I feel cheated...

We have been coming to this location for about 6 years. We keep coming back, because the food is always great. We have had mostly REALLY good service, with a few exceptions.

Tatum is our favorite server. She's so personable, and GOOD at her job. She takes time to have friendly a chat, and specifically talks to our youngest, who is on the spectrum. He responds so well to her ❤️ We are always so pleased to see when she's there.

There is a wonderful lady who primarily worked breakfast/day shifts on the weekends that we don't see anymore. She was amazing as well. We don't get in on the weekends enough, so we haven't seen her, but hopefully she's still there.

We've seen improvement on the consistency of the newer servers. The main complaint we have is that there are never enough servers for the amount of customers. The poor servers are left running themselves ragged to cover the entire restaurant. Please schedule or hire more servers to help out your staff. They deserve help.

Also, this place is in desperate need of an update/refresh. The booths are all ripped and ragged, the floor is gross. The outside of the building has needed a good pressure washing for years.

All in all, we definitely recommend...
