I found out about Chef Brian through a local community post. I’m so glad I did! I ordered through Uber eats since I’m at home in recovery and this made my day. I ordered the game day wings and waffle sandwich with brownies and sweet tea. Everything was delicious, a welcome change from the usual Tucson fare. This is definitely comfort food as Chef Brian has fried apples on the Round the way Waffle Sammie which was a staple of my grandmother’s growing up in Maryland, authentic sweet tea, (I lived in GA for a number of years), unique wing sauces and even brownies for dessert. Looking forward to also trying the Chesapeake Bay salmon, (another one of my grandmas favorites) and the pork chops. Check him out if you’re in or around Reid Park Zoo or visiting Tucson. Will definitely be ordering more wings when basketball season starts at U of A!

To say the food was incredible, is an understatment. Chef Brian's culinary work scratches all the itches I seek in comfort food, but also steps in fresh directions with nuances of flavor, that only unique artistry can provide. Chef Brian's Comfort Kitchen is a gem tucked in the 4400 Broadway Tower, but it felt like home: Chef Brian Hill treated everyone in my family with a true sense of care and heartfelt joy. To be treated with such appreciation by someone with such talent, is a rare experience in this age. Eating here reinvigorates what it means to be nourished.

Chef Brian makes fried chicken like no other!! Beautifully seasoned, crispy, and always fresh. Seriously scrumptious and generous portions too! My friends and I have been going to Chef Brian's since he was at his old location on 4th and we loved his genuine enthusiasm for his craft and kindness to his customers. As in the name, Chef Brian and his food are truly comforting. I recommend the Chicken Sliders, 4-1-1 tea, and the chicken and waffles! You can never go wrong with the classics! Thank you so much, Chef Brian! Excited for the future location!

Chef Brains’ World-Famous Chicken and Waffles: A Must-Try Delight!

If there’s one dish that defines comfort and flavor, it’s Chef Brains’ World-Famous Chicken and Waffles. This isn’t just food—it’s an experience. From the first bite to the last, every element of this dish is crafted to perfection.

The fried chicken is simply unforgettable—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with a seasoning blend that’s pure magic. The waffles? Light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, with just the right amount of crispness on the edges. And when you drizzle on that rich, house-made syrup, the flavors come together in a way that feels almost too good to be true.

But what truly makes this meal special is Chef Brain himself. Not only is he a master of his craft, but he’s also one of the kindest, most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. His passion for cooking is evident in every plate he serves, and his warm personality makes you feel right at home. Whether he’s greeting customers with a smile or sharing a story behind his signature dish, Chef Brain brings an energy that makes the experience even more memorable.

If you haven’t had Chef Brains’ World-Famous Chicken and Waffles yet, do yourself a favor and try it as soon as possible. You’ll not only leave with a full stomach but also with a smile, thanks to the incredible food and even more incredible chef.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)...

If you’re looking for the ultimate chicken experience—look no further. This place doesn’t just serve food… it delivers miracles wrapped in golden, crispy skin.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like royalty. The portions? Monumental. We’re talking about platefuls that could sustain a small army, yet somehow every bite is perfectly balanced, tender, and seasoned like the chef personally prayed over it. And speaking of the chef—what a legend. Not only is he an absolute specimen of a human being (seriously, someone sculpt this man in marble), but he sings in the kitchen. Operatic falsettos. Baritone jazz. Chicken-themed ballads. All while frying, seasoning, and plating like someone who truly loves what he does.

But he’s not just talented—he’s humble too. When he brought the food out (yes, he brought it out), he cracked a joke about his apron being from the “Michelangelo collection: Stained by flavor, stitched by the angels.” I laughed. I cried. I devoured an entire mountain of chicken.

The service was phenomenal—attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. I felt like they wanted me to not just enjoy my meal but thrive during it. This wasn’t a restaurant visit. This was a transformational life event.

Five stars? I’d give it infinity if I could. Come hungry....

Top notch ain't good enough. Above and beyond is more like it. I wanted chicken and waffles, never tried them and from what I read online this was where I should go. Wasn't disappointed. I thought the chicken would be like chicken tenders or something like that, but they were two pieces of fried boneless chicken breast that were fried to perfection. So tender and moist that I could easily cut them with a fork and with a super crunchy and flavorful coating. The waffle was crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside and just as good as the chicken. On top if that, Chef Brian is just a great guy to talk to and even helped me get my car started when it decided to get a little moody. I wasn't having a bad day, but even if I was having one when I walked into Chef Brian's, there's no way I could have been having one when I left. Chef Brian is very positive and fun to talk to. He also gave me a fruit punch that he makes from scratch for free and you can absolutely taste the made from scratch difference. I'll definitely be going back and you couldn't go wrong by stopping...
